5-way power splitter cable for Korg Volca by MyVolts - White (5-way splitter + PSU)

A difficult product to find due to the unusual sized connectors Korg used for a power socket. This works great by supplying my 4 Volcas with power to get around hijacking a small bedroom to hold all the batteries they use. The 5 spliiter leads are well made and connect through another connector to the lead coming from the power supply. This is extremely handy I found for feeding at the back of tables etc. It also means you could plug them into the USB adaptor they sell to replace the PSU end which also works great.When I first powered by Volcas by mains power, I had an unusual nasty background noise finding it's way to the mixer. This wasn't anything at all to do with the splitter I found and was easily solved by using some "ground line isolators".I must also thank the company for excellent help, interest and support in helping me sort this problem out which is always a pitfall of having lots of boxes and wires in one place I suppose.

At first I was so happy to be able to power 3 volcas from just one power source.Then I noticed that when they are all connected to it and into my mixer the sound somehow travels through the power source and into the other channels in the mixer in which the other volcas are connected, so if I have volcabass in channels one and keys in channel 2 and they are both on this same power supply you will hear the sound from the bass in the keys channel and visa versa. I tested it without the power going to one of them and the problem stopped.

Perfect. I use this to connect to my korg volca synths and this saves having separate power supply's for each one, brilliant piece of equipment.

With three Volcas to power, the options are eighteen batteries or three separate power adaptors: expensive and impractical. Thankfully this amazing solution exists. Using this item you have the ability to power up to five Volcas from one power adaptor. The product is of very good quality and the wires have plenty of length in them. Service and customer support was also excellent. Overall, highly recommended.

Does not work!Will power maybe 2 Volcas at most.Try and switch on another and the others power off with low battery warnings.PoS!

Nice bit of kit at a great price, and most of all brilliant service from this seller. I had some problems initially and they kept in touch and made sure I got what I needed. Got it set up with two Volca Keys, a Beats and a Bass, running out of the 9V adapter supplied, and all seems well.

Exactly what I needed

If you have 3 or more Volcas, then you know how the cables start overtaking the space :) So a product like this really helps in managing that: one single power source for all your Volcas is a fantastic thing.
