UK compatible.
I had to replace my DVD series with this Blu-ray collection just because of the amount of special features. Each film has a plethora of commentaries, multiple documentaries, many with new interviews, outakes, deleted scenes, a series of short films (Lost Tales of Camp Blood) and more. Part 3 has the choice of 2D or 3D, but glasses are not included.Delivery from America was also very fast.

HIGH DEFINITION HOCKEY MASK
Friday The 13th 8 Movie Collection, Paramount Blu-ray, U.S import.A very high class collection of films, included are the first 8 Friday films. The first installment is unrated, the rest are (sadly) R-rated, i've only watchedpart 1 and the picture quality is fantastic, crisp, sharp, very colourful.I'd imagine the other seven movies will follow suit. One gripe, the Blu-ray slip cover, Jason should be a lot broader & better drawn. The extras might be carried over from the Deluxe DVDs released ages ago, i'm notsure if there are any new Blu-ray features, the info is out there somewhere. At £20, 15p ( the other 2 film Blu-rays are way expensive), this was a steal.Daylight robbery, cheap as chips, highly recommended.Works on U.K Blu-ray players.

Disappointed
I am a big fan of the horror genre, whether it’s in the early days of film (Nosferatu, Phantom Of The Opera, etc) or the more contemporary stuff. I remember this on its release & how good it was. This box set is fine, but in all honesty, Friday the 13th 1 & 2 are the better films, with the remaining entries just rehashes with crummy acting & never getting the chill factor like 1 & 2. Also, I was disappointed in episode 3, as they made this in 3d, & the 3d just doesn’t work. It’s the old style of red & green cardboard glasses, & again, that doesn’t work. Overall, 1 & 2 good, the rest can be used as coasters for your beers, wines or coffee.

Beware, this is not new like advertised
This is advertised as new, and even though it was in a cellophane wrapper, the wrapper looked like it was not what it originally came in. The paper cover insert looks like it’s been wet previously because it’s all wrinkled, the blue case has scratches all over it, each disc has small marks on them, and all the discs are red except for the first disc which is blue. It looks like it comes from another set, although that could’ve just been how it’s designed. I’m not happy with how this has been sent to me in the slightest. I think I’ll be wanting a refund. Beware.

8 Classic 80's Slasher films
I wasn't big on the first film so may skip that one in future (Second film has a 5 minute flashback anyway) but really enjoyed watching all 7 other films, the last 3 for the first time. This is the best collection of the films only including the 8 original Paramount films and thankfully not Jason Goes to Hell which is trash. Personal favourite is Part II but really enjoyed Part VI and find Part V underrated. Tempted to rewatch Parts II-VIII again over New Years.

Arrived quickly but mildly damaged
The product arrived very quickly and the discs are all in good quality (so far I haven't watched them all yet!) but the case of the blu-ray arrived damaged, theres a massive crack down the middle of the side which makes it harder to fold closed. This normally wouldnt be a big deal, but as it is a specialised case which holds 6 blu rays (parts 5+6 and 7+8 are each sharing a disc) so it is hard to replace.

Classic
The first eight installments of the Friday 13th franchise on 6 discs. The first three films are the best but the remainder are entertaining. It is a little lazy on the part of Paramount to only give us an anaglyph 3d version of part 3, but that is better than nothing, especially as in the extras they go on about how good it was in 3d.plenty of extras over the set.
