A block of beeswax, pine resin and jojoba oil mixture for making or refreshing beeswax wraps

I wanted to use beeswax as a more sustainable alternative to cling film, but they are expensive to buy - so I thought I'd try making my own. Having looked up tutorials online they all recommend using a combination of beeswax, jojoba oil and pine rosin rather than just straight beeswax - but buying all of them separately was going to be just as (if not more) expensive than buying the ready made sheets.I was so pleased to find a product that combined all of the necessary ingredients, and made in the UK too. I bought one block as a test and it arrived quickly - complete with instructions and no plastic packaging!! Which for me is a huge plus - it's frustrating trying to make eco-friendly alternatives but having to buy ingredients covered in plastic.Following the instructions was easy and like others have said it's certainly a messy job, but fun too! My wrap came out beautifully, it's firm but pliable and tacky, so it sticks together nicely. My housemate saw it and asked if I could make her some too, so I'll definitely be ordering more of these blocks!! I'm super happy with this, thank you so much!

I bought 2 blocks for convenience and to see how I got on before buying separate ingredients. The instructions were good (though there were some typos - I can never understand why they don't check more carefully as it doesn't give a professional impression). It was easy to use and not too messy, though my fingers got very sticky. If I make more (wraps for everyone for Christmas!) it's probably more economical to buy the ingredients separately as I only managed to do 6 small wraps with 2 blocks.

Really nice, easy to use all in one product. Lovely smell. Sticky as expected but dedicate your brush etc just to the job and nothing else as this makes the cleaning up easy. Really turn out fabulous if you use good quality cotton. I used 4 blocks and made 4 large 4 med and 8 small wraps as gift sets. Very good value for money. Found a printable wrapper on the internet and a use and care info sheet. Very, very pleased and will make more.

Good instructions, I used it to rewax a wrappy sandwich wrap. Found the result to be a bit too sticky, maybe too much resin in the wax.

Just what I needed for a bnbproject.Smells divine. Easy to melt. Came in little brown paper wrapper. Could be given as a gift.48g on my scale but a little goes a long way

Great product! Very easy to use , good instructions leaflet however , I was surprised at the size 😕 tiny blocks ! The pictures are definitely deceiving. Does cover the quantity stated so at £3.75 value for money 😊
