The real deal, high quality
I dump out the powder and titrate catered dosages for myself, and this powder works perfectly. Highly positive effects. Thank you for keeping such high quality standards during times of economic uncertainty.

High Homocysteine, Hormones and the B2 Connection
This supplement has helped me in more ways than one. First it has helped me clear up Rosacea along with taking Olive Leaf extract. Whenever you take "extra amounts" of one of the B vitamins please be sure to also include a B complex. This supplement along with other active forms of the B vitamins has also helped me more so than taking the glandulars and herbs for Adrenal Fatigue. But most importantly this supplement helped with bringing down high homocysteine levels. I had high Homocysteine levels of 23 "after" starting on bio-identical hormones (progesterone) and I could not figure out why they would shoot up like that after starting on the hormones. I do not eat a lot of dairy and when a woman is pregnant the body requires more B2 (milk). B2 helps breaks down Folate acid and B12 when she is pregnant (or when she is taking progesterone) and if the body can not metabolize the B9 (Folate acid) and B12 it will raise Homocysteine levels which is really bad for your health. B6 also helps in keeping Homocysteine levels down but I think B2 is often overlooked in this process. For some reason the bio-identical doctor refused to make any connection with the high Homocysteine levels and the Hormone Replacement Therapy through email or on phone however after many hours of research and starting on the mega doses of the active forms of the B's (including this supplement by Thorne) I went back two months later to retest Homocysteine and they were down to 7.5. When I went back "in person" to talk to the bio-identical hormone doctor and showed him the new Homocysteine test after starting on on the B vitamins and presenting to him my theory on how the hormones "indirectly" caused a rise in Homocysteine by creating a deficiency in B2 when body thought it was pregnant by starting on the progesterone he sat back in his chair and said "you are correct" and in fact asked me for the "exact recipe" I used and wrote it down. My point here is the doctor was reluctant to discuss this via the phone or email, plus when I was asking him the question "what is the connection" he simply refused to even acknowledge there was one. It wasn't until I figured it out on my own and was in office "face to face" and with new blood work test in my hand that he acknowledge there was a connection between the rise in levels and starting the therapy. So the moral of the story is if you are a woman thinking about starting on bio-identical hormones make sure you are getting plenty of B2, B6 and Folate acid (note: the Methyl forms) and some B12 and have your B levels and Homocysteine levels tested "before" starting your treatments and then retesting them after being on the hormones. If you notice any increase or decrease in your B levels when you have not taken or changed any of your B vitamins from the time that you started the hormones to one month after being on them this is an indication of some change in a metabolic pathway that could lead to something very big like an increase in high Homocysteine levels. The problem can easily be fixed "if" you know about it but if left untreated can ultimately cause all kinds of unwanted health problems and contradict the whole purpose of the hormones. I am certainly not a doctor or giving medical advice, I am simply a concerned consumer sharing my personal experience in hopes that it may help someone else. In my opinion I would highly recommend this product if you are looking to bring down high Homocysteine levels, starting Bio-identical Progesterone, needing help with Adrenal fatigue or simply wanting to clear up Rosacea (for the Rosacea issue don't forget to add in Olive Leaf Extract) Good Luck and "thank you" THRONE!

Good. Priced way too high.
Good product. Used after long illness and while recovering appetite for meat. Way too high priced. Health industry needs to adjust pricing for good health and maintenance items vs cosmetic and vanity products. With lots of boomers aging the companies can recoup R&D costs in quantity of sales.

Great for Headaches
Depending on what you’re taking it for it’s great. I take it to help with headaches and because I have issues absorbing b-vitamins. Fair warning it may make your urine neon yellow, which is safe and normal. Doesn’t hurt my stomach if I take with or without food.

Migraine prevention
I can't take regular riboflavin for migraine prevention without having unwelcome symptoms. That doesn't happen with this form.
