I gave this bag a five-star review even though it's not perfect, because it deserves more than 4 stars. The size is a great fit for my iPad Pro 10.5, which is mated to a Brydge all-aluminum keyboard case which makes it look and feel like a small Mac Book Pro. The number of pockets is very good with four of them being zippered. True, they are not particularly big, as some other reviewers have noted. However, they can easily handle my apple power charger and cable along with a small power bank. There is also room for the shoulder strap (which by the way has metal connectors) and some other smaller items such as a stylus, etc. The interior padding is adequate and is very soft. The case exterior has firm corners, so a three-foot (+/-) drop on a hard surface isn't likely going to do any damage. The convenient handles are well made, though stuffing them down into the pockets on both sides of the bag when you are using the shoulder strap is less than ideal. Personally, I mostly leave them up as they aren't really in the way. Your call.One thing that does baffle me a bit is the USB charging port and interior standard USB cable setup, as most of my non-Apple devices use a USB mini-cable. The cable is supposed to be detachable, but unless you favor using a pair of wire clippers, it isn't. Specification change maybe? Even if that isn't an issue for you, you can't charge your tablet inside the case anyway, as there is no opening for the cable into the tablet section. So you either have charge something small enough to fit into the charging pocket that holds the USB cable, or hang the cable outside the pocket and up into the tablet pocket, but only after you connect an adapter that will fit your device to the case's USB cord. To me, it seems like more trouble than it's worth, but you may feel differently. That one really minor issue aside, this is a great case, especially for the very reasonable price.

My criterion for a laptop case/sleeve were sturdiness&protection, ease of access, and usefulness. This bag rings all the bells. It was important that I could reach into my tote bag and easily pull my 13" laptop out, either inside the case or from within it, ie, it had to have a horizontal opening and a handle there to pull up on. I needed a shoulder strap for convenience as well. I liked that the shoulder strap hooks were metal, not plastic. I find the strap to be comfortable and stable across my body. I decided it could be handy to have pockets for all my goodies: tablet, phone, charger, paper pad and pen. Their variety and number, more than I knew, are more functional (bigger) than I expected. The fabric of the bag appears to be durable and the main pouch is well-padded. The stitching overall looks tight and precisely done. I am going to be a happier traveller indeed with this case.

I wanted a laptop sleeve for my new laptop that I could pop into my messenger bag or throw over my shoulder as needed. I hated all the other similar styles I looked at because of the handles. I've never been a big fan of the visibility of handles when using a shoulder strap. It's a personal thing, I just can't stand it. Having the handles hide was the selling point that made me purchase this specific sleeve. And I love it.I can hide the handles. There are more than enough pockets (for an organizational freak this is amazing). And the inside is so soft. It's super sturdy and the colors are exactly what I had hoped for.The only flaw- the should straps attach under the handles. Rather than your typical shoulder straps which would attach to each side of the bag, these attach on either side of the bag but at the handles. The opening of the strap doesn't allow for you to carry it as a cross body. But, for me, that's a minor detail when I get everything else I wanted.

I am an editor who carries more than a responsible number of magazines or books in my supposed-to-be minimalist laptop sleeves alongside a comically wide 17-inch laptop. So the number of pockets, and resilient distortionary properties of this particular "briefcase", are a delight. As for its construction, it seems solid enough for a soft case. The zippers and handles feel quite secure the materials are satisfying to the touch. I have to admit a touch of annoyance with the placement of the rings for the shoulder strap - being directly attached to the handles makes it hard to balance the laptop when worn across the opposite shoulder rather than same-side carry - but it never feels like it's in danger of falling. Everything moves smoothly when it should, and stays securely when it needs to. The interior of the actual laptop slot is ludicrously soft, so no fear of scratches even on fancier finishes. The fact that it's virtually weightless compared to the behemoth of a briefcase I needed to otherwise carry doesn't hurt, either. If you don't need a hard case or a watertight solution, it's an excellent pick.

Bought this for my Fiancé to use for his iPad to go back and forth to school and while traveling. Nicely padded, great little pockets and high durability as he seems to be rough with everything! Small and compact so it can easily slide into other bags as well while keeping the actual tablet or iPad protected safely. Great for those on the go and an easy gift idea!

This is a good looking bag, and my 14" hp fits right in there. I was a little worried after I ordered it if the fit would be right, so as soon as I got it, of course I tried it out and it fits nice. I did have to come to the reviews to try to figure out where the shoulder strap snaps on. This is a little strange and not the best design, but it will work. You have to search in the pocket where the handles are to find the rings. One person said they can't use it for across the body, but you can, just make it longer, it's just not as nice as it would be if the snap rings were on the edges and not so close to center. I like this, it's nice looking, as far as durability, well, I've only had it 2 days, lol, so far so good!!!!
