A Steal
I am very impressed with the loaded pick guard. The overall appearance was amazing. I found a Squier Affinity at a flea market for $60 and after a neck adjustment, steel wool on the frets and oil on the fingerboard, it was ready to play. The pickups and switch are an upgrade to the stock stuff. I’d say the pots are not much difference. Installation was a breeze thanks to the reviews on this site. All in all, this was a fantastic upgrade for the price. I now have have $85 in the guitar and it sounds and plays great. On another site, a reviewer had great things to say about the Musiclily tuning pegs — that might be the next upgrade!!

got this for the pick guard and electronics were a sort of bonus.
I have a sea foam green Squire Strat with a plain white pick guard...YUCK!!! so I wanted a pearl white pick guard instead... while looking for on I saw this and the reviews seemed good for the pickups and such so i got it as it wasn't much more $$$ than just the guard. I installed it but was not impressed with the pickups so i took out all the electronics and put my stock fender stuff in it, now it looks really nice and sounds good as well. A lt of folks say the pick ups in this are good, some even say better than the stock squier set, I like the fender set better, you may like these better. Im not knocking these at all, i just like the stock set more. the pick guard is really nice. Oh one more thing, it did have to be trimmed a very little bit around the bridge and neck to fit... and a couple of the holes were a touch off from the factory holes in the body of the guitar... i dont know if it was poor workmanship of the Pick-guard or the guitar... it is a Squire so its a Chinese made strat... but i believe this pick-guard is made in China too... Hmm you'd think that would cancel each other out and they'd fit perfect huh? lol... Anyhow it was easy to trim to fit and sort of force the screws to go in and line up and it looks great now!

Nice run-of-the-mill single coils
It's a nice pickguard, and the pickups are pretty good. They were a massive improvement over my previous pickups, a set of Dimarzio Area's. The Area's are stacked humbuckers voiced like a single coil... I like their lack of hum, but they were also lacking in crispness and clarity. In the end, I decided that tone was more important to me than fighting hum, and I'm very glad I switched to these. The hum isn't even that bad. And if I turn up the gain, I can switch to one of the hum canceling positions if need be.If you're interested in jumping into the world of single coils, or already love single coils but aren't too picky about them, I'd definitely recommend these. They are a great "normal" set of pickups, not noticeably bright or dark. My only criticism, if I had to list one, is that there isn't really much info about the pickups. It's not like buying a Dimarzio or Seymour Duncan, where you can see the specs of a dozen pickups, compare them, and pick one that suits your taste.Overall it's crazy how good the sound is for what you pay.

looks good, sounds good
bought this to refresh an old Squier Strat. Everything lines up properly, and the ceramic pickups sound better than whatever came in the original setup. The pots, switch, and jack are cheap, but work well. No weird noises, pops, clicks, or anything else that's not supposed to be there. I have a franken-caster that needs refreshed as well, so another one of these will be ordered, soon.

Fits Perfect and ROCKS!
I read several reviews before buying, and this fits the Squier Stratocaster Affinity perfectly and sounds AMAZING! I recommend lining the guard up with two screws at opposite ends. Do not tighten them! Work all screws in one at a time, and do not tighten any screws until all screws are aligned in each hole appropriately. Tighten all the screws. This guard will fit. Great product! Highly recommended!

Single Coil Loaded Pickguard for SSS Strat
Seemed like a good product to try for testing out a guitar, but the wires were soldered in such a way that they could not be placed into the routed channels on the guitar body. The wires were too short and therefore would not sit in their proper place. This caused the wires to be sandwiched between the pickguard and the body of the guitar, which, obviously, would not be a proper installation. The product was returned and a review written for the benefit of other buyers and for the benefit of company quality control.

So good for the money!
Wow.. really WOW for the money. Looks and SOUNDS great! No hum at all.Used to replaced 2010 Squire components. Some minor fitment issues like slightly misaligned holes and loose wires. I had to route the wires a little to get it to lay flat. Probably a normal problem.I didn't have any major problems with the screw holes. Leave your screws loose till you get them all started. Also there is a metal grounding layer that may overlap holes you'll need to punch through.Reminder...if you use this on a Squire ... Drilling is required! I was able it punch holes in the body with an all and insert the screws by hand (cheap Squire body).Despite the fitment issues I really can't mark it down for a catch all product.
