Ogrmar ABS Plastic Dustproof Waterproof IP65 Junction Box Universal Electrical Project Enclosure with Lock (15.7"x11.8"x7")

This was just the right size for my HF lathe upgrade (installed DC motor). I was able to stuff a speed controller, ammeter, tachometer, 2 temperature sensor/indicators, and (net here yet) a buck regulator into this box with some careful planning. It comes light grey, I painted it to match my lathe color. Made of ABS. it machines well. There are standoffs molded on the interior back wall that accept self tapping screws, and the two center top and bottom standoffs have inserts for M4 screws. You can take accurate measurements off the back side of the box. There are also 4 holes for self tapping screws in the four corners of the back for mounting to a plate. The cover has a seal if you need something air-tight. I am very happy with this purchase. Delivery was fast.

I have my own Marine business and specialize in a few things including Marine Electrical, and am an ABYC Certified Master Tech. I am doing an inverter installation on a pristine Ocean Alexander. I came across this well priced nicely sized for a Inverter Panel. It worked out really sweet with the Blue Sea Systems AC Panel I am using. I built it last night and was really stoked with the dimensions, they couldn't be better, and plenty of room in the depth which is needed for incoming line circuit and output loads /circuits. I like the two 8/32 machine threaded inserts at top and bottom of the box for cable management. It is really nicely made, I have used a lot of different boxes for electrical systems (my company does some Navy small craft electrical, and marine systems work), as well a large yachts and small crafts. I a number of the Navy spec'd boxes usu. Eaton, Newmar makes nice boxes but very very expensive and I've seen similar types to theirs on AMZ for significantly less.This one is really cool because of the hinged door. It may be locked as well. The gasket seems reasonably solid to prevent water ingress at its IP rating. I am using Although this is not a box exposed to the elements / outdoors, I do tend to go the extra mile to make sure everything I do meets or exceeds ABYC Electrical Standards and USCG Regulations. This box is nice, solid, well made and substantial. I will definitely be considering this brand for additional projects as appropriate. I would not hesitate purchasing. Price is great delivery spot on with Prime, and not flimsy or sketchy in any way. Definitely a value without sacrificing quality.

I used this box to enclose an outdoor lighting controller. When using my drill press to make holes for conduit the bit caught and spun the box several times, smacking into the drill press frame and base. Then it came loose and bounced across the floor. Despite the abuse the only damage was in the hole area itself, winch I straightened out. This is one tuff box!

It's a nice box that will hold a SLA battery and charger for an indoor project. So I won't be testing its weatherproof ability.It would be very helpful if the description had a drawing of the mounting holes with threaded inserts size and location. The threaded inserts are M4x0.7 instead of the expected #8-32. That's not a disaster but does mean a trip to the H/W store for metric fasteners. Minus one star for that annoyance.

This box is very sturdy and the plastic drilled easily, for my bulkhead connectors, without cracking. The cover closes and seals well and I'm confident it will keep my equipment dry. It had a vacuum in it, so the door was impossible to open until I drilled my first hole. Keep that in mind if you don't intend to make holes. I tried wrapping it in a heated blanket for an hour to break the vacuum and prying it open with a large screwdriver... it wasn't going to budge. Again, the box is very stout. The only negative I can think of is that the hinge pins are showing some rust already (2 months), but for the price it exceeds expectations.

Perfect for the job we needed it for. Durable, blended in with the material we were attaching it to. Looked custom made for the job. Price was great. Will definitely buy it again.

Fit and works as expected. Pleased to have the wires covered and protected.
