Great flexible solution when your camera and lens need protection
The velcro straps, cords, and openings allow for quickly fitting and protecting your camera and lens combination in rain or dripping wet conditions. Used both in rain and dripping conditions in redwoods with a macro lens and a telelens and could easily focus manually through the bottom opening and manage the camera controls. Even changing the battery pack of the battery grip was no issue. By chance one of the cord retainers came lose, but showed how easy it is to adjust, or even replace an reattach. A must have when photographing in nasty weather. Only would recommend to turn it inside out for drying as it doesn't stop condensation when returning to the car.

The camera cover you really need
I was concerned about this product, wondering if it would be too bulky while shooting, but I was surprised. We had a heavy slushy snowfall here and I used this cover while I was out in the weather. It was awesome. The camera lens stayed dry and I had no issues focusing under the cover. I am going to purchase another set for my husband's camera. Great product!!

Does the job at a reasonable price.
I purchased this as a (much) lower-priced alternative to the Think Tank rain hoodie. It does the job in all but severe downpours. The medium size easily handles my Nikon 70-200 and 300mm telephoto lenses. Spray a coat of Scotch Guard water repellent on it prior to use and after every third use just to ensure its water repellency. It folds up in its own storage pouch and takes up little room in your camera bag or waist pack so you can always have it with you if the weather turns bad.I recommend it any photographer who needs to shoot outdoors in inclement weather.

Simple and overpriced, yet probably the best
I wanted a rain cover that wouldn't tear, was simple in design, and could be used with a tripod. Simple right? Nope. Most of these things are cheap in quality. I would sooner use a plastic grocery bag than pay $15 for something that is just as durable, yet comes with velcro and elastic. Others have weird sleeves or odd sizes which make them awkward to use, and very few seem to allow you to use a tripod in both horizontal and vertical orientation. This design and construction is great, yet could probably cost about $20 less. I would say it is overpriced, but I did buy it and this is photography, so I'll let you be the judge. I was planning a trip into the Canadian back country which is known for rain, and I didn't want to get ll the way out there and not have a properly functioning rain cover. That is the only reason I paid for this. Otherwise, just use a plastic bag.

Easy to use, easy to install, keeps the rain off.
It works, it is easy to put on, I can't really complain. I am not sure how well it would perform in a downpour but for splashes and stuff it worked out ok. I bought a the medium size for a wide angle lens, probably a bit too big, but it gave me more coverage over the back of the camera.

Essential protection for lenses/cameras
I have 5 LensCoat RainCoats and they are all great. The LensCoat RainCoats are very quick to attach and durable. There are other covers that fully protect the rear of the camera, but they are too complex to set up quickly. I always have a RainCoat in the camera backpack and can have it on in seconds.

... it is to synch down on the lens hood like the larger models do and there for will not ...
This lens coat item DOES NOT have the rubberized lining on the inside where it is to synch down on the lens hood like the larger models do and there for will not stay on the hood and slip off in seconds. For a product of this price point it is very disappointing to have to find some rubberized strips and stitch them on myself in order to make it functional. In the case of being sued with the Canon 24-105mmL lens, it slips back onto the barrel and then will let the water drip directly onto the barrel and it is also in the way when you retract the barrel.
