Good lense at this price
It is a good and versatile lense. eliminates the default lense that has come with my SLR D5100. i am using it with filter lense. The picture quality is good. covers a 18 to 105 mm which is a good amount of range needed for wide angle to close up shots that you plan during any outing.

Defective and Second quality product
Auto focus isn't working properly. Product quality isn't good. Lens cap is very cheap and defective. In the box Product is mentioned as made in Thailand but in the product mentioned as made in China. And the serial number in the box and product are different. I have raised a complaint about this in the customer care.

Item is used. No Serial No in invoice. Box and lens serial no differs. It is second hand, may be third hand with cleaned lens. No warranty in Nikon Service Center.

It's a good lens and better upgrade from 18-55.
Built quality is good .images are sharp and good. I don't like plastic mount . Warranty card missing and no proper labelling on box.

प्लीज कोई भी अमेजन से लेंस न खरीदे क्यों मेरे पास जो लेंस आया bo kharab bhej diya gaya hai is liye koi bhi online na खरीदे जब आया तब मेने चला कर चेक किया न्यू था लेकिन शादी में फोटो खींचे तो फोकस out kar raha return time bhi nikal gaya nikon service centre par lekar Gaya to bola ki online bale authorised centre nahi isliye warranty nahi milegi

This is an excellent camera lens. Good focus, excellent zoom, no visible distortion over the zoom range. Easy and quick to operate. Fits easily on my Nikon 6000. Stabilization helps. I bought it as a replacement for the same camera lens I damaged traveling. Not easy to damage. Someone slammed their luggage into my hand luggage in the overhead bin. The price on Amazon was excellent. It cost me less to buy a replacement on Amazon than Nikon bid for the repair. Plus Nikon wanted 4 weeks to do the repair, while I got the lens in one to two days.

January 2025 - Product arrived on time and very well packaged. Lens conditioned as described - nearly perfect. Lens works exactly as it should. It's always a good thing when you can find a quality sellers on amazon. We have one here with this vendor. I will purchase again.
