Chicco KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat, Nottingham

I loved this car seat when my son was an infant. I specifically purchased it for the breathable material due to the fact that we live in a place where temps consistently reach 100+ degrees in the summer and he never seemed to be excessively sweaty when removed from this car seat. Overall, I really liked the ease of installation that made switching it from my cat to my husband’s car so easy that I did not feel the need to purchase an additional base. I also really liked extra canopy extension to help keep the sun out. My only issue with this car seat was the additional cold weather cover could not be used in conjunction with the Chicco stroller caddy. This was not too huge of a deal given the climate in our area, but there were days when I did use it and would have to constantly remove and reattach the cover every time I would switch from the stroller to the car and vice versa.

This carseat is amazing! I love that the handle to unlatch is in the BACK and not the front like most carseats are. The base is super easy to install it took my husband probably 5-10mins! We got to purple one its so pretty! Only thing I disliked at first was that it is VERY stiff until its been used a few times! My daughter was 6lb and it fit her perfectly! We just ordered the chicco keyfit caddy stroller that this carseat sits in and would 100% recommend buying that to go along with this! Very convenient and small! It took us 4 car seats to get the rite one for our vehicle! So, if you have a 2016 Jeep Compass THIS is the carseat for you!!

I got the Chicco Keyfit 3 yrs ago when my daughter was born. My biggest complaint was that it didn't breath for her and wasn't padded enough for comfort. I just purchased this new model for my new son and it blows the other Chiccos out of the water!!! Super comfy. The padding for babies back and bum is incredible. And it has the added ventilation to keep baby from getting too hot on the backside. It looks so nice. And we love the added visor extension that zips on and off as well as the zip on cover. It protects baby from pesky strangers wanting to breath on your baby and touch them lol. As well as from the elements . I wouldn't use it on hot days outside though. It does help keep heat in. Also, most important, the safety features is top of the line. Not just for Chicco. Very happy with this purchase. I got the matching Chicco double stroller for him and my toddler. So far so good with that.

Okay, I haven’t actually used this car seat yet, but I have taken it out of the box. And, I’m a CPST, so inspecting car seats is sort of my thing.I love the quality of this seat, the comfy fabric, the breathability, the added touches that make it worth the price tag. I have installed quite a few keyfits, and I love the ease of install. The instructions are so clear and easy to understand! I know this seat will be great for my next little one.My one and only complaint is that I bought the chicco car seat caddy to go with this and it doesn’t click in if you have the removable cover on the seat. It’s really important that it does click in if the stroller were to ever topple over, so it’s a bummer that I won’t be able to use that feature with the stroller during cold months. I didn’t think it was that much of a dealbreaker so I kept my rating at 5 stars.Looking forward to buckling up my newest little one in this!

I purchased this car seat for my daughter and my new granddaughter. My new granddaughter is traveling around town with it. They really like the car seat. very convenient sturdy and easy to use. They have thanked me several times. Grandpa

Just got my Chicco Keyfit 30 Zip Air today in the mail and I couldn’t be happier! I was one of the lucky Mom’s who got it for a super deal of $129.00, but I probably would have gotten it regardless. This car seat is beautiful and well made. The zippers work smoothly and are a nice added detail. The fabric is also very lightweight and It feels very breathable. The color Surf is also pretty and flattering for both a boy or a girl and the infant insert is in fact reversible with a grey side. The seat itself has the perfect amount of cushion and firmness. It also feels sturdy yet is relatively light. The extra sunshade and foot muff are a must. My baby is due in December and I intended to buy a foot muff, this way I saved myself the extra $ and got one incorporated. I have yet to install the seat into my car and I will update when I’m able with that added information.

Love this carrier car seat! My son is 7 weeks old and we’ve used it from day 1 (well day 3 to exact). It is lightweight and easy to install the base. We ordered an extra base for our second vehicle to make taking him in and out of the car a snap. The bottom pad is easily removed for cleaning. Only struggle is removing the shoulder pads for cleaning, thus far we have just wiped it down. Color is good for any gender so we will be able to use again. And our son enjoys his naps in it after a quick car ride.

My husband a I are first time parents and returned 4 car seats that were awful and super hard to figure out. This one is perfect! So easy to install and snapd out with ease. We also use it with the Chico stroller. Great buy! Worth every penny.
