These combination pliers are my go to. They replaced my knipex combination pliers cause these ones have the Romex strippers. Which I use very often and is to a great quality standard. Strips Romex and wire easily without any nicks in the wire. Cutter works great and cuts with ease. I like how big the plier jaw is. Makes splices multiple wires easy.

I was disappointed to realize that only two Romex stripping tools were available on Amazon and the Big Box Home Store. They are uncommon, so it’s fault of the market and not either store.This product was a little more expensive than the self-adjusting tool. The latter looked like it would be more difficult to use, so I opted for a tool specifically made for stripping 12/2 and 14/2 Romex. This tool easily stripped two Romex ends right out of the box. Even has two bolt shearing holes, a wide plier-type grip for fat cords, and a loop hole for making j hooks. Feels sturdy and high-quality. Worth the price of almost $30!

I'm a residential electrician, so I deal mainly with Romex wire. This tool has performed very well for me for the past 9 months. It's comfortable in my hand, has great durability, and does well in stripping sheathing and insulation. It will always have a place in my tote, next to the knipex, Klein, and Ideal tools. Let me be clear: these don't compare well to a pair of lineman pliers; I don't even try to use them as such. These strippers have a great range of abilities. The only thing that I'd add to them is the ability to shear 10/32 bolts as well.

These strippers are great for any residential electrician because they will strip the romex on 14-2 and 12-2 but also strip the individual conductors as well. It's well made and at a good price these a few e better then the klien ones for a residential electrician but you can't really twist your wires together with these due to the spring in between the handles. All and all its a great tool

Great tool especially with the wide front jaw which makes it good for splicing I just wish they cross knurled the jaws on the gripping surface.

They work great and are easy to handle.

These work great for stripping both single wires and the outer casing on 12-2 and 14-2 wires and the plyer ends are nice and strong pulled out wire staples no problem as well as work great to twist wires together. Nicely made tool

I just spent an entire day on the honey-do list and it was the first time I really enjoyed electrical work.If you’re working with NM/Romex — buy these now. It’s a game changer and these are definitely the most fully features and well built NM strippers.These nearly do it all and are so much better than other methods of striping Romex.Buy it. They are durable, strip wire so cleanly and overall amazing

Awesome tool, never spliced boxes faster. I live in fear for the inevitable day I blow them up doing something dumb.

Thought this was a great idea, unfortunately this tool doesn't work very well on Loomex in Canada, it bites into the insulation when removing the jacket and the copper when stripping the insulation on conductors. I guess the Romex it's marketed for has different standards for their AWG sizes.Still using it though, just not as seamless as I had hoped.
