🎵 Strike a Chord with Elegance!
The Carillon Pentatonic Glockenspiel is a beautifully crafted percussion instrument made in Sweden from cherry wood, featuring 7 high-quality steel plates. With a melodic range that spans from d' to e''', it serves as an excellent introduction to music for beginners and pairs perfectly with the gentle tones of the harp.

Error in manufacturing
When I read the previous review I was hoping she just got a defective item. After all, this is over a hundred dollars for a child's instrument (I'm using it in my first grade homeschool group). But mine also has the error. D, E, G, A, H (intead of B), D, E. I was hoping that I could use it with students who are just learning to read music, but if the key has an H engraved on it, how will that help them?Did Choroi decided to just sell their defective instruments through Amazon?

Well crafted fun instrument
The instrument is well crafted. It’s in the pentatonic 5 note scale which means no matter which notes you hit it always sounds good and harmonizes. Many Scottish folk songs like Auld Lang Syne are written in the pentatonic scale. I gave it four stars because it comes with a mallet that I had to replace with a pair of wooden mallets to get a louder and brighter sound. (I bought a small 8 inch pair through Amazon). The notes are engraved D,E,G,A, H (which should be a B) D,E. So this is a G Pentatonic scale. FYI: Amazing Grace and Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah are written in the pentatonic scale. (The black keys on a piano are the pentatonic scale) This is not a toy - it’s a very nice little instrument.
