I love this silver chest. There are no dividers in the drawers, and I find that feature to be a plus. Without dividers it holds an amazing amount of flatware. None of my silver has tarnished so far. The chest is in a room with and antique table and china cabinet, and it blends in perfectly. The finish is not too glossy, the details rival much more expensive units.

One side handle was broken and somehow I thought there would be some drawer dividers

I was in need of a silverware chest as mine was broken. They are not many to choose from. This one is reasonably priced and of very good quality. It was fairly easy to put together but a second person is needed. I am pleased with how it looks in my dining room. I'd recommend it.

It’s pretty and it’s functional with lined drawers. All great except it’s very small. The drawers are not very wide and the height is shallow. My long handled serving pieces could not fit in. My large antique ladles were too high. My flatware set was already in a beautiful flat velvet slotted holder. The holder would not fit in the drawers. So basically, about half of my silver could fit in the drawers and it did fill the chest up. Also, there was one small crack on the top back molding. It wasn’t due to shipping as the seller did a good job with packing the piece and getting it here on time. It only shows up in certain lights and there is a coat of varnish over it so it must have been done during production. There is also a product containing formaldehyde warning on this piece. One last thing is that you have to put the legs on it. It wasn’t that hard and we did a great job but it only will sit flat on the carpet. It will wobble on a wood floor. I guess to sum it up, if you don’t have a lot of silver or large pieces of silver, this could be a very nice chest for you.

Christmas gift for my daughter. It was everything she wanted and more.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It holds all my silverware and fits perfectly in my dining room.

Finally a bedside table for a bed that it’s higher than normal! The quality is lovely, with enough space in the drawers for my Surfacebook and iPad.

The information about the cabinet doesn’t address a description of the inside of the drawers. I ordered it hoping they would be lined and they are. Just beautiful. Not hardwood (much more costly if it had been made from hardwood), but really nice still yet. Very happy with my purchase. The purchase is up to my expected standards and the drawers are perfectly lined. Bonus.
