The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is that the description for the case was a bit misleading- it stated it was chevron "fabric" and I took that literally. It is really a hard/smooth case, which has been fine too, but I had been looking for fabric as then it wouldn't be so slippery in my hand. Overall great case! That is since we liked the available designs, and since this product had been recommended to us by a friend. The case arrived in decent shape (albeit in a used ziploc bag, as noted by other reviewers), but it was clearly too small for our Iphone 5s. We happened to have an older Iphone 4s, and the case fit that smaller phone quite well. We called Amazon customer service and arranged (easily) for the return of this case.
