STAGG Laredo Chili With Beans, 15 Oz ~ We really like this product and have only been able to find it online. They are always out of stock in the local stores. The texture, thickness, meat content, and overall quality of the chili are really good and a great value for the money. This is the first time I've had a problem, not with the product, but with the packaging. The items were included in an order with other items, including 8 cloth recovery body suits for our cats. All three cans were bent or dented, and one of them had the top slightly open; the chili had leaked out and was all over the items in the box. Very disappointed. I will contact Amazon and ask for another order of the chili, this time free.

Not perfect, but far from the worst chili in a can. I'm still searching for a 5-star can, but this is OK.

I had never heard of this brand or had tried it before I bought a can of it. My experience with canned chilis has been hit and miss with most chili being too salty, unpleasant tasting, or lacking a balance of flavors. This chili surprised me when I had my first can. It was not overly spicy and it had a good flavor, there was just enough meat and beans and it wasn't salty at all. This is the closest I have tasted to a homemade chili from a can. I decided to wait until I tried another can or two to write a review, so that I could check for consistency and again, after eating three cans of this chili over a course of a month or so I have found it is consistently delicious and for now I am definitely going to keep this is my pantry. A note, this is the perfect size for a meal at 600 calories for a can, I was left satiated after eating a can, but not sick from excess calories. You could stretch a can into two servings, by pouring a half a can over rice and having the second half for another meal, which is what I did once to test this with rice.

So while this chili is cooked with hot peppers, I can assure you it is not that hot at all. We have small children in the house and they do not blink an eye. Of the entire STAGG Chili line-up, this is our favorite. It is also the hardest to find! Come on STAGG, ramp up production please! :) The only cons we have found are: - availability has been low recently - price is slightly more than others - produces a bit more flatulence power (eat at your own risk - ha). The Pros: - Delicious - Easy on the tummy, no issues like some chili's - Good with about any sides - Well rounded flavor, not over bearing, is inline with being "just right" Excellent product -- be sure to give it a try if you have not done so. We would not expect any disappointment at all. Recommded for certain.

I don't know if they changed their recipe, but I really used to like this. And now it's like their missing something. I would still recommend this, the assortment of vegetables and overall quality is nice, the price a little high, but again overall decent taste and texture.

This flavor is so good, spicy, and the flavor is spot on.
