Oriental Furniture 7 ft. Tall Jute Shoji Screen - 5 Panel - Black

I saw in some of the reviews were some people were concerned about the spaces between the panels because of the joinery used. I tried to live with it at first but I felt the gaps were just a bit too big. I purchased 15/16 of an inch eye hooks from the local hardware store and found screws that fit snugly in the holes. I then bought some of the locking bolts and made my own hinges. Make sure to save the old joinery as you will want to re-install them if you ever decide to sell your shades at a later date.Another thing to remember, when drilling the pilot holes for they screw eyes (that's the real name of the hardware), offset the holes to account for the thickness of the screw eyes. The result was a beautiful room divider with very tight gaps between the panels. What you see here is actually two different screens hooked together to make on really large one. I'm happy with the results and they are truly nice pieces of work. Great craftsmanship from the Philippines.

It's not quite 7 ft; however it is tall enough to cover the height that I needed. It came very well packaged! Nothing broken! My only complaint is the gap between each panel is too wide, in my opinion. I've had other ones where the panels were a little more snugly placed so that it wasn't as see-through. I use it for privacy purposes/changing etc. and still have to watch to make sure no one is present on the other side. It's a 4-star for that reason alone. Otherwise it's simple and beautiful!

I will give it a zero star if I can. Spend over 400 dollars to receive a broken screen. It looks very tacky and low quality, definitely not worth 400 dollars. Returning it was a nightmare, too given how big it is. Ugh, just don't do it. Spend 400 dollars somewhere else.

The divider wall is excellent quality and the perfect size for us. I was surprised how well it was packaged as I was unpacking it, because the outside was a bit smooshed and I was worried (FedEx usually doesn"t treat the items well during transport I have encountered each time it was used as a shipping company). Overall I can only recommend this product. It is well worth the money. Also, it does not have that new smell, which I am glad about. It is much more durable than the rice paper room dividers. Very happy!!

Good looking, no assembly required, I ordered two and both arrived in perfect condition. Now using them in a different home for a different purpose - I think they’ll last forever.

This price offered on the nicely made panels is amazing - truly! They aren't lightweight rice panel weight either. My preference was for the rosewood which is very pretty and tall which is somewhat difficult to find. Very happy - shipped super quickly and packaged unbelievably well, great surprise!
