I use this to cut my soaps. Love it.

The quality is good. The wire does not fall into the space edged for it.....therefore cutting through till the end becomes difficult for larger sizes.

badly made, and impossible to clean. it went black and mouldy first month because the tight groove is too hard to clean from. the bar moves around and gets out of alignment. Very disappointed waste of money.

I like this cheese cutter, but the replacement process for wires is not good. They claim lifetime guarantee on wires, but you have to mail them the old one to get a new one. If you want a back-up so that you don't have to wait for the replacement, they charge you $2 for the wire (reasonable) and $7.50 shipping (not reasonable). So either you wait for the replacement or pay half the cost of the slicer for one wire. I would have gladly spent $2 more for this board with a spare wire. I will probably not buy this model again.

For as often as we prepare Charcuterie boards this product is perfect for cutting bulk cheeses. We have tried many other options, such as cheese knives, but they always fell short of producing the perfect slice. This board is easy to clean and I like that if the wire becomes damaged, they include in the packaging, a web address to where you can purchase more. I enjoy this product so much I may include it in my holiday shopping this year, as I know of many others that could benefit from this cheese slicer!

This product works as expected, the only issue is that the wood dries out when washed and is low quality. Maybe I need to take better care of it but I would prefer a low maintenance product. Will be keeping it
