The AuKing projector seems to be of good quality. It is small, easy to use and the picture is good. The sound is okay, but I suggest an external speaker. I literally had it up and a video playing just one minute after I took it out of the box using HDMI to my laptop. I got this unit as an art projector. I project the picture I am painting on to a canvas and next to the canvas I am painting on. This way, both pictures are the same size. It saves me a ton of time, as I often have to correct sizes and positions of things when looking at smaller pictures. Overall, this unit is really nice, easy to use, and the price is perfect too. You can also use this to project web pages and photos too. I like that! I also ordered this because it has a tripod mount, which makes it easier to manipulate and position so I can get both pictures the same size.

Let's be honest, if you're expecting a $65 off-brand projector to be cinema quality sharp and bright enough to easily watch in a room with the lights on you're not being realistic in the slightest. So what is this little unit? Well, it's a fantastic "movie night" projector for a gathering of family and friends at an amazing price, but you'll need to make sure you have a very dark room (or it's very dark outside if you're having an outdoor viewing party) and you'll also need to not be a pixel snob, walking up to the screen and pointing out "eww, I can see the pixels". Yeah, you can see the pixels on ANYTHING if you get close enough. Okay, so the description says 1080p right? Yeah, well that means it can PLAY 1080p content from a microSD card or USB drive, it does NOT mean that the internal LCD is 1920x1080 pixels in resolution. Does that mean that it's not worth the price? Absolutely it is. I dare you to try to find a projector with an ACTUAL 1080p LCD for less than $300 (at the very low end). What it means is that you'll need to chill out and accept that your little $65 projector is not going to be as sharp as the ones at the movie theater. Did you really think it would be?? I don't know about you but I always look forward to getting movies on bluray after I've seen them in the theater because even the theater ones (which costs TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars) are nowhere near as sharp as a bluray on a decent LED television, but you know what makes it cool? watching it on a HUGE screen! So if you pick this little thing up you can also grab a $20 projector screen here on Amazon and have your very own home cinema for well under a hundred bucks. This thing is easy to use, reliable, sharp (for the resolution it's capable of), and plenty bright enough in a dark room. PROS: - cheap - long life LED bulb prevents having to purchase super expensive halogen bulbs - tiny and easy to carry - has a tripod 1/4" thread on the bottom for easy mounting - has microSD, USB, VGA, HDMI, etc... - USB will power a Chromecast, so you can just plug into USB and HDMI and have a streaming home cinema - remote works well - goes from power on to ready in well under 10 seconds flat CONS: - you won't be watching it in a bright room, the darker the better - 800x480 resolution (just don't be a pixel snob) - manual is in chinglish and very sparse (but use your brain and figure it out, it's easy)

I’ve been using this projector for about two years now and it has been an absolute game changer for our home setup. Solid little projector that punches above its price instead of pretending to be a home theater beast. Setup is dead simple, focus is quick, and the 2025 upgrade actually delivers a noticeably brighter, sharper image than older budget minis. Fan noise is present but not obnoxious, and the built-in speakers are usable if you’re not an audio snob. If you want a cheap, portable projector that works as advertised without gimmicks, this is a smart buy. I connected my fire stick and used a Bluetooth speaker, amazing setup! Love how portable it is and now use it instead of my TV. This is my second one purchased to use in my bedroom

After buying a few projectors that were affordable online and being disappointed of the quality or the ability for it to even work I was more than pleasantly surprised at the quality of this little machine. It was easy to set up, hooked right up to the Amazon firestick and the audio/visual were outstanding. The quality of the audio may be lost Outdoors but there are av cables so speakers would be an option. Great buy for the price!

I originally bought it for art tracing, mural projects, and enlarging my sketches, and it works beautifully. For the price, it’s incredibly cost-effective and does exactly what I need without breaking the bank. The bonus? It’s small and lightweight, so I can easily travel with it for workshops or creative projects. And when I’m done working, it doubles as a mini movie projector—perfect for watching shows on the go. Highly recommend for artists, creators, and anyone who wants a reliable portable projector!

Good, utilitarian projector for art projects, etc., however the set up takes a bit of patience especially if you are trying to project artwork for tracing. There are no adjustable feet on the bottom of it so we had to use folded paper to even things out as needed. Once that was done and set in place it was easy to focus the picture and adjust the tilt. The picture quality and color is decent. It's lightweight and compact enough to fit into the traveling art kit of a scenic artist. There was a bit of a learning curve for someone used to using an old school overhead projector for this type of task. I wish they would include all the variety of cords possibly needed or have Bluetooth available.

Easy to set up and use. Fantastic picture, focus, weight, and size. The sound could be a bit louder we hooked it up to a sound bar. Still a good value for the price
