DCD740B 20-Volt MAX Li-Ion Right Angle Drill (Tool Only)

DeWalt quality tool. There are spaces that require a short drill and this works for me. Uses their standard rechargeable batteries. Drove 3” wood screws into 2x4 and base plywood with plenty of torque. Does NOT have a clutch like their other battery powered tools. Does have an extended trigger lever which gives me room to hold it while reaching for screw. Recommend for tight spaces where either a drill is needed or a fastener.

This DeWalt 20 Volt Right Angle Drill/Driver is designed for tight working spaces and is made very well as are all of the DeWalt line-up of tools, this one does not disappoint. The 3/8” Chuck works perfectly to fit all drills and bits of the spectrum. The Variable Speed elongated paddle-like trigger works like a dream when variable amounts of finger pressure is applied…it is very responsive, convenient and intuitive to use. The design too offers a wider grip access for the operator depending on the needed hold for the task at hand and the trigger accommodates a wider variety of working grip holds quite well. There is an LED that automatically turns on when pressing the trigger, nice especially in tight spaces. The 2 Speed Settings are made to deliver on needed versatility of use and the reverse is easy to use located near the trigger paddle. Comes with a belt clip installed on the right side for convenient access from a tool belt. Also included is an operating manual. No battery or charger is included although the DeWalt 20V Max Batteries do fit perfectly as tested. Another Fantastic DeWalt tool for any DIYer or Professional Tradesman!

Yes it does just come by itself no battery case or anything but that's fine as I have a DeWalt sander that uses the same battery. It came just in time as I was putting a chair together that was impossible to torque down by hand due to limited access where this worked extremely well. It does have a lot of torque. Have only used on the low setting which works very well to control the speed. Durability seems fine has some weight to it and it's versatile enough to hold various drill bits Alan heads Etc. I think it's a fair price will update review in 6 months after some extensive use.

I ordered and paid full price for a New Drill, but I received a USED one. I could tell because there was a screwdriver bit still in the chuck. From that I deduced whoever purchased it first wanted to use it for a screwdriver and returned it when it didn't work for that. So, I put it to the test, and it works really well... it is a little heavier than I expected and bulker but it's still a good drill. I am disappointed that I was sent a USED one that was sold to me as NEW and at full price! Amazon should have a support function to turn these sellers in when they Illegally represent their products as new when they are used.

This drill uses the standard 20v DeWalt battery pack, and is sturdy and as powerful as the usual configuration Dewalt drills. The best solution I have found to date for drilling in closed in spaces such as between wall studs. This is the only tool I have that, when I lend it to someone else for a brief time, they say "I want one of these!"

O equipamento que é alimentado por baterias tem um visual lindo e realmente a ferramenta é boa. A descrição do fornecedor não enfatiza que “a a bateria de 20V não acompanha a ferramenta”. Quando recebi fiquei com uma certa frustração já que não faça para funcionar a furadeira e aparafusadeira. Posteriormente comprei as baterias e uma bolsa e pude funcionar a ferramenta que é fantástica.
