It is sturdy, a very good length, and I like the ease of a key lock. If you register your lock, they have a lost key program so that if you ever lose yours, they will know what lock you have and send you a new set. I did find that it is easy to pinch a finger or the skin on your hand in the lock when you are closing it, so just be a bit careful. I am certain this cable will not hold up to a pair of bolt cutters, but then again, I only need it for local rides around my neighborhood, and I am not too worried about someone putting in that much effort to steal my bike. Both broke in the same way: the lock spins around as you turn the key (instead of releasing the catch), and the locking bolt no longer clicks into place at all.
