Good, solid movie
3.5 starts, if for the only reason that features Aamir Khan in drag (which is priceless). Otherwise, a good solid showing, but aside from the aforementioned cross-dressing, nothing too memorable; similar to but not quite the depth and complexity as Sarfaroosh.

Die Hard Indian style
Filled with lots of action . Aamir Khan is excellent in his part as a commando cop. Music was fun too. If you like Indian movies with lots of fight scenes this is the movie for you. Dvd worked well.

Action all the way
What it lacks for in subtly, this film certainly makes up for in excitement. The villain is so obvious that it is impossible to believe that no one realises, I loved that one of his henchman, escaped from death row, attends a press conference disguised solely by a pair of glasses and there is a rather nasty rape/murder. But then this film isn't about subtly, it's about action and entertainment, and it delivers both in spades. Aamir burns up the screen as Amar the comando-style policeman (with pretty much the same back story as in the later Sarfarosh) fighting corruption in both government and the police force, and his songs with reporter/sex-kitten Sanjana (Mamta Kalkarni) are sweetly romantic or hot, hot, hot. The plot speeds from fight sequence to fight sequence with more than a nod to Lethal Weapon, Die Hard and The Fugitive, and there is the jaw-dropping "Miss Julie" section - about which I can say nothing more without spoiling it. You will be amused, exasperated and stunned but you will not be bored! The subtitles are a little out of synch at the start and both the sound quality and visuals on the dvd are dated but not badly enough to spoil the fun.
