Microsoft Xbox One X Console - 1TB w/ Accessories - Black

Owned this console for 10 days before HDMI port stopped working. The console was manufactured in October 2017 so I’d be hesitant to call this brand new. Called Amazon who connected me with Microsoft and they told me the warranty is only good until August 13, 2019. Microsoft says it appears to have been refurbished since they offer 12 month warranties on new consoles. Even refurbished ones have a 90 day warranty.

Be warned! No instructions on how to endure device initialization. Forced to create a microsoft account ; no clear descriptions for what "services" cost or even what they are. Then ... I installed a new game, Forza Motorsport 7, which took hours (really) to upgrade and initialize. I had no idea about any of this. Had I known I wouldn't have purchased the unit. Now wondering if I should return it. This device must be one of the ugliest things MS has ever produced. Zero.

Product seemed in new condition when received, though I did have some concerns as the inserts in the package for 1 month free online access for Live had already been scratched off and used. Within a month, the hard drive had entered its error death spiral (and no amount of restart and hard USB wipe corrected the issue). I called Microsoft and only then discovered that the machine was already out of warranty due to being dated 9/2017 on the serial number. I contacted this seller through Amazon, and they told me that based on my purchase date that it should still be within warranty and it was my problem. I am concerned that this was a machine used, with the known issues of early Xbox one hard drive failures, and passed on to another customer. I would NOT recommend purchasing ANY devices from this supplier. I will be seeking a replacement through a reputable box store.

Product is a refurbished Xbox One X listed and sold as new. Already set up a return and have been refunded by amazon. This is not a new product and caution should be adhered to. Duffles by amazon and sold through a third party. Not as advertised be advised.

I've tested this with my blu-ray discs and my games. Everything has worked nicely. That's the Microsoft quality standard!
