Can Be Confusing Which Coax Goes To Which Connector
The graphics in the instructions are confusing. First off all there are NO MARKINGS on the SWR Meter to indicate which antenna connector on the back of the meter is the one to connect to your antenna, and the one for the transceiver to connect to, all they have is a picture/graphic. However when looking at the graphic it seems to indicate you are looking at the back of the meter and when I hooked it up that way, it shows there is something wrong, The SWR does not drop, if transmit a low wattage signal to set the meter, then switch to get SWR Reading it goes off the chart, SWR does NOT drop at all. If I reverse the two pieces of coax it acts like it's supposed to, SWR drops and when I use a turner it drops to less than 1.1:1. So either the graphic is wrong... OR they wired mine up backwards at the factory.Might I suggest you PLEASE HAVE THEM INDICATE WITH LABELING WHICH SO 239 IS FOR THE ANTENNA AND WHICH FOR THE TRANSCEIVER vs A Silly Graphic on a piece of paper that is confusing. ! At least if the METER is marked even if you lose the paper you still can read the meter and know which side goes where! I was using low power less than 2 watts when trying to tune SWR, it appears that no damage was done to the radio due to your confusing graphics, or wiring error whichever the case might be.

Junk
Meter works somewhat. However, you get what you paid for cheap. It takes one reading and then another a moment later very inconsistent. One reading 1.3 and then over 3. I tried it with two CBs and two different antennas and it did the same thing with all the components. Junk spend the $40 bucks for something decent.I got one from RadioShack it works just fine same reading every time and when you make adjustments it adjusts the reading WOW.
