These toys are a blast to assemble with my son.
These are quality construction toys that are compatible with legos and most other knock off brands. Some of the small pieces can be difficult for little fingers to pop together but, in general, are simple to assemble. I was first attracted to the Pokemon for my son, but Mega Construx has a huge selection of construction toys, many of which are intended to target adults. I'm looking forward to buying some for myself.

My 6 year old really love these Pokémon that fit in the ball. I was worried from other reviews that bulbasaur might fall apart. For the most part it stays together pretty well, but I did super glue it together and now I don’t have to worry about losing any pieces. I thought it was a good value for what you get.

I got this for my nephew and he loved it! It's a bit tricky to put together for a little kid but an 8/9 year old can do it just fine. There are instructions provided, all visual. It's relatively sturdy though it will break apart a little if thrown around. Easy enough to put back together though. Note that these aren't really usable with Lego bricks.

I had no idea Pokémon was still popular. My nephew has taken a liking to all things Pokémon and I had no idea how expensive / difficult it was to get items. This was around the $5 mark so reasonable for what it is but nothing special.
