These chairs are exquisite--solid wood, elegant design--but they are NOT white. They are a beautiful stone color with green undertones; the color looks a bit like a faded mint gray wash. I took several pictures to help you identify the color: next to linen curtains and a sand-color painted wall, against a bright white tablecloth, against a wall painted "Bone" and adjacent to an off-white West Elm table and "Swiss Coffee" baseboards. A Benjamin Moore fan deck shows their "Linen White". As you can see, these chairs are much more shaded. In fact, the color is a close match to "Nature's Essentials", a shade of color in the brown family (BM 1521). Be very certain about the color you want, because the chairs are expensive to return. OJ Commerce charges a 30% restocking fee on top of the return shipping. You do the math. :(

These are great quality chairs. They came in perfect condition, no dents or cracks or anything like that. Very sturdy and comfortable. I do agree with another reviewer though, they are not premium white. When i first saw them out of the box they looked white... but when I put them next to my "white white" table that I bought them to go with, doesn't match. There is a very clear distinction in color. They do appear to be an off white, slightly tan, almost greenish tone (if you put them next to something white.) I am actually going to paint them to match my table (which i also painted myself as it was unfinished wood.) I do believe you can do this if you use a flat premium white color that comes already with primer. I would have given 5 stars if not for the color. Should look great once painted. Delivery also came in a timely manner.

They went together really easy, not too complicated if you can follow instructions. I've had IKEA products that were more confusing. None of them (ordered 3 sets of 2 each) came with an an allen wrench (hex key) so I had to use my own. Of the 6 chairs, two of them do not sit perfectly flat on our hardwood floors. It doesn't matter where they sit on the floor or how many times I try to adjust the screws and plastic glides, they wobble ever so slightly when no one sits in them. When I (a 250 lb dude) sit in them or even my 19 month old, it does not wobble so I think it's not a big deal.They are made of solid wood as it states, but it's not the sturdiest wood, I've already found a few pieces knocked out in them from who knows what. In all, they are great for the price we paid, and we're happy with them. Are they perfect, no, but only a type-A like myself notices the wobble, or the dings (likely from a truck and young boys). If they'd come with the hex key for assembly I probably would have given 5 stars.

Eggshell color, not white but we love them! Sturdy, solid wood and easy to put together. All the nails and washers including tool to put it together came with the chairs.

Odd color in person. Dont expect to watch these with other white ish furniture. Contacted the company to try to get a sample of the color somehow before purchasing. They were not willing to help. Returned.

Update. Less than one month in they are cracking!! And the paint is coming off!!These are very well made, easy to put together and sturdy. The color is not a white white though, it’s more of a greyish white, like bone.

Purchased two of these to go with a set of 4 similar chairs that I purchased years ago from World Market. These were not an identical match but close enough. The other chairs were fairly inexpensive and we didn't sit on them regularly up until a couple years ago. Since we started sitting on them on a regular basis they've held up even though they are not the most sturdy. These 2 seem even less sturdy...but will probably be sturdy enough it's just my husband and I (most of the time).

Sturdy and comfortable chairs. Packaged well with lots of protection. Easy to put together and even had hardware for each chair in separate packages. The chairs are beautiful and the seats are wide and comfortable.Tip, to make sure chairs are level, loosely screw in all bolts. Then sit on the chair and tighten all of the bolts. I did this with two chairs of the four. The other two I sat on and tightened one bolt per leg and turn the chair over to finish tightening. There is a slight wobble when moving but not when you sit on it. It was fixed by loosening the bolts and tightening again using the method for the non wiggly chairs.

Well made and comfortable!
