This brush is fantastic for lining, shadows, and brows. It has a surprising number of functions. While I find Sigma brushes to be a little scratchy in general, the overall use of this brush was completely worth it. It’s wider than I expected, but that actually just made it fill a hole that wasn’t already taken in my collection.

Works great for highlighting under and around eyebrows. Medium firmness - perfect firmness for the application that I use it for. Brush is a good quality, no shedding bristles, and doesn't seem cheaply made. Not sure if it is authentic Sigma since this is one of my first buys,but I LoVE the brush regardless. For those who would like to know it reads: Paten Pending on one side of the ferrule and then on the other side the ferrule reads: Sigma and the style number is engraved at bottom ferrule under the last crimp. I posted a pic. Overall it a great brush and a must have for me!Update 1/31/2016: This brush has been going strong and has become a staple tool for shaping my brows and higlighting my brow bone. Still no shedding and a True Keeper!

I have another flat definer brush from beauty junkees. The quality of their brushes for the price is good & their flat definer is a good brush. I've been very curious about Stila & if it's worth the price. The two brushes are the exact same size. Only visible difference is bristle color. Both have same sturdiness. But, here's the one difference that made the Stila better. When you run your finger across the top of the Stila brush? Feels like velvet. When you do the same with a "cheaper" version, it's not as smooth. To the touch, the difference is small. However, when you are running the brush across your eyelid, you can apply your liner smoothly. I tried the cheaper brush on one lid & the more expensive on the other. It takes a few more brush strokes with the cheaper version to achieve the results of this brush. If you're on a tight budget, stick with the cheaper one, it still does the job. I'm glad I tried this out, think I'll buy another one of these, but not ready to invest in a large expensive set.

This brush is perfect. Before buying this brush, I had been using a years-old flat definer from Sephora, which I thought was totally fine. I had decided to try a number of Sigma brushes and figured I could use a backup definer brush. This brush changed everything. It's so soft and the build quality is excellent. This brush picks up and holds product well, and stays in shape exactly as I need it to. I use this brush literally every morning to line and tightline. Highly recommend!

Great for lining eyes.

I was apprehensive about buying the brush, seeing as you can get ok ones slightly cheaper, but I've been making a point to get a better quality of product when it comes to my skin and makeup, etc. as one life lesson I've learned leading up to now is sometimes you are better off saving up for or paying a little extra for certain things made of "better" quality than to waste $ on things you'll have to replace more frequently anyway.I digress, the product shipped and arrived quickly. Not sure if it is a temporary promotion or what, so I can't guarantee it would be the case in the future, but I also received a bonus brush "gift for me" - a travel size E25 blending brush. Nice! Essentially I got 2 brushes for the price of 1, and am very happy with my purchase thus far. I'm intending to use the brush for tightlining with the Laura Mercier Tightline Cake Eye Liner, but I've not received the liner just yet. The Sigma got to me first.

I love Sigma brushes and own quite a few. They last a long time and still look good even after being cleaned multiple times. I dip it in brow gel and use this brush to get a good straight arch on my eyebrows. This brush helps you get a clean brow and its hard to mess up when using it. You can also apply concealer to it and then use it to clean up around the brow if you werent so neat with your brow pencil.

I saw this brush being used on a YouTube video for applying Laura Mercier Cake Eye Liner, so I thought I'd purchase this brush ... and cake eye liner ... and give them both a try. And I'm glad I did. I LOVE APPLYING CAKE EYE LINER NOW - my eyes pop. The brush tip is stiff and applies the liner perfectly to my eyes. Would recommend to anyone interested in purchased. Shipped quickly and packaged in excellent condition.
