Once again, Coleman delivers quality.
I've just received this sleeping bag in the mail, took it out, unrolled it, looked it over and felt it over, and must say I am quite pleased with this product. It looks and feels very durable and comfortable. It's also pretty easy to roll back up and put in the carrying bag. Admittedly I've not "field tested" it yet, which is why I'm giving it four stars instead of five (I'll update my review once I've tested it), but based on first impressions of this bag, I would buy this product again and suggest it to others. Update (11/13/2014): Since writing my initial review, I've had the opportunity to test this bag in colder temperatures (mid-30's) and this bag does everything it claims it does: Keeps you warm and allows you to sleep in comfort. Even in mid-30's temps, this bag was incredibly warm and in fact it was a bit too warm, as I found myself pulling down the top a bit to sleep more comfortably, but that's a good thing because it means this bag will hold up in much colder temperatures should you find yourself stranded in the woods. This is a great bag to use at home or have secured to the top of your hiking or survival bag. I'm updating my review from a 4-star to a 5-star rating because this bag deserves it. In a few years when I wear down my current bag, I'll definitely be purchasing another of the same type. Cheers to Coleman for creating such a great product.

Awesome sleeping bag delivers in cold temperatures
I'm one of those people who don't like to use the heater at my house when there's more efficient ways to warm myself, so I bought this Coleman sleeping bag to sleep in during the winters in New Mexico. I've been using it each night for the past month with the temperature ranging from 25-50 degrees. Here are some things I've learned about my experience with this sleeping bag: -the ideal temperature for me with t-shirt and shorts is about 40 degrees. -with the temperature from 30-35 degrees I find it ideal to use a quilt on the outside of the sleeping bag. -temperatures from 25-30 degrees I supplement the sleeping bag with a quilt on the outside of the sleeping and another quilt just at the top where the shoulders are exposed and heat escapes. Plus I wear a sweatshirt, sweatpants, and cap. -the sleeping bag is tough to use above 45 degrees because I get too hot. A quilt or two is better. -I don't use socks and haven't had an issue with my nails or skin getting caught on the inner lining. In fact I find the material very soft and somewhat smooth, even when lying awake for an hour. -I can toss and turn without much difficulty. I don't feel constricted. -the zipper has worked very well. This sleeping bag has beat my expectations for warmth and quality, especially considering the price. I bought mine from Amazon Warehouse for $22 in very good condition. I would buy this sleeping bag again if I needed another sleeping bag for the purpose described here.

Soft, Comfortable, but a pain to put away,,,
This is one of the lower-end, yet totally affordable sleeping bags available on Amazon. I was heading for a trip to visit friends at a local College and needed something to sleep on that'd ship in 2 days (thank you Prime!) and this Coleman cool-weather sleeping bag did the trick. The sleeping bag is advertised as Cool Weather - which essentially means it's made for 30 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit weather. Rest assured you can use it in room temperature and not sweat to death! I used it in a dorm room with a temperature of about 70 degrees and was perfectly comfortable and sweat-free for the night. The sleeping bag, for its price, is very comfortable and a great option for outdoor or indoor sleeping. It's soft on the inside and water-resistant on the outside, which is a must-have for any good sleeping bag. It was a perfect length for my height (5'11") but I wouldn't suggest this for anyone taller than 6'1" otherwise you may be uncomfortable. For sleeping on the ground or on a floor this sleeping bag gets the job done. The only real "con" for this product is how annoying and obnoxious it is to put it away. When you first buy it the sleeping bag as a sort of zipper that helps it stay secure when putting it into the polyester bag you carry it with - but once you unzip it you'll likely never be able to zip it up again. I just don't see how its possible to properly zip it back up. It comes with bungee cords that wrap around it to secure it for being inserted into the polyester bag, but it'll take you a while (took me about 10 minutes) to slowly get it all compressed back into the carry bag. It's certainly an advantage for just having the sleeping bag without a cover, but Coleman should have thought this feature through for the convenience of getting it put away! In the end I'd recommend this sleeping bag mostly because it was dirt cheap, and beats sleeping on the dirt on your next camping trip. You may want to be wary of putting it away, but it's great while you're using it!

Clever details, lightweight, very warm in low temps
I ordered three sleeping bags to try before my camping trip. I knew it would be cold overnight, so I wanted one that would keep me warm. The first one I got was too thin, the second was thick and probably would have kept me really warm, but it was bulky & heavy. This Coleman was just right! Light in actual weight, but thick enough to keep me very warm when the temps dropped into the 40s overnight. There are a couple of really clever details too, like little toggle hooks to keep the sleeping bag folded in half when you roll it up. Anyone who has struggled to stuff a fluffy sleeping into one of those tiny storage bags knows how frustrating it is when the center spirals up like a croissant at the end. The flannel lining was a bit static-y in the dry Southern CA weather, and wasn't as cozy as a cotton flannel, but for the cost, this is a really great sleeping bag.

It's a good one for *cool* weather, not frigid though
It's comfortable and easy to use -- pretty much impossible to roll up into a non-bulky size! It's lightweight and has a good liner. I like it!

Toasty and easy to pack
I love these sleeping bags. I have had an old Coleman sleeping bag for about 20 years and there is nothing at all wrong with it but it was heavy and I was looking for a modern day comparable item. We went camping and it was about 45 degrees out, this sleeping bag kept me comfortable with long pants and socks on. That says a lot considering I am always cold, even in warm summer weather. The sleeping bag was easy to pack away, I appreciate that the storage bag has an extra gusset to give some more room when packing back into the storage bag.. The zipper is nice and smooth and the interior fabric is super soft and comfortable. My only negative is, this sleeping bag is not best for someone of above average height. My boyfriend(6'4") Tried to use this one night and it was just too short for him.
