Very convenient but not always effective
I purchased this straw after a recent trip to Florida having experienced what paper straws can be like. I was excited for this product and hoping to reduce my economic waste. The carrying case and cleaner are amazingly convenient. However, when you expand the straw I found it often collapses when actually in use. Therefore, it is not effective when your beverage isn't full.

Skip straws all together if you can, if not, this works okay
It’s heavy and bulky and kind of annoying to carry around.

It works as expected
I live at the beach so plastic straws are being removed from the area so I purchased this steel straw to use. The two pieces screw together and form a nice size straw. The cleaning brush is a nice addition.
