Didnt work!
Cant get it to work. Not sure though if it's this of my "Data cable" that goes from my phone to this cord. Its all just aggravating as hell. Just buy a cheap dvd player, maybe a portable one. You'll come out cheaper by the time you buy all those different cables, I promise.

Well thought out
This is a well-thought-out alternative. It's actually better than Apple's connector because it supports both iPhone and Android enables you to charge the device while you're using it.

Works great for iPhone SE and iPad pro into my sony tv
It will play back any YouTube clips or music etc but doesn't crashes my Netflix and amazon prime when connected.
