Super neat item. Its awesome. The visual aspects are great. It is really neat how the ball moves up and down through one spiral shape. It is in the medium size range because it isnt too small yet it isnt too large. I wish it was larger. There are multiple colors to chose from. I live in Florida and this item has already seen the ups and downs of temperatures plus being beach side the air is salty and humid. It still looks brand new. It is made very well. I would recommend though to get a motor because it doesnt want to move on its own unless it is a strong wind/breeze or you physically move it yourself. Other than that it is a great item for a gift or yourself. I like it alot.

I ordered #14 and received it today. This piece is wayyy more beautiful than the picture. The peacock blue ball moves up and down when it spins and is gorgeous. The metal is stainless steel and very well made. I am ordering 5 more for my girlfriends!!!

UPDATE — I added a short video from my son (this was a gift to him) in case it helps those who are expecting the glass ball itself to move up and down. The ball spinning/moving is simply a very wonderfully clever “optical illusion”. The ball itself is stationary - it simply appears to move up and down inside its metal holder only when it turns and blows in the wind. It’s really very neat to watch - and it does work as intended. We had a hard time trying to choose a gazing ball “tail” for our new spinner, but finally settled on this one - and glad we did! It’s really beautiful in person. The blue glass ball is a stunning, eye-catching shade that perfectly matches with the blue in our spinner. We love the metal work on the hanger itself and is actually one of the reasons we chose this one over a couple of others. The additional bends and swirls in the metal are a work of art, if you will! We just got it, so can’t comment on how well it holds up to weather, but being stainless steel we are hoping it lasts a very long time! Pricing is reasonable too when checking around, so we are happy all around!

It looks just like the picture. The glass is heavy lead crystal and the red color is in the glass- not dyed on the surface only. The metal is bright polished stainless steel- I wish it were copper. It still looks beautiful and attracts many birds, as I have it hanging near seed and nectar feeders. If it actually worked and moved around, it would probably scare the birds away, so it isn’t such a bad thing after all. But it should either come with the spinner motor or be more clear that it doesn’t spin.

Well made, and well packaged. It's smaller than I imagined, but still beautiful to behold. Fun! Recommended.

Fit perfectly on the bottom of my new wind spinner and looks so pretty. When the sun hits the crystal, it creates colourful little spots all over my driveway that look like they are dancing as the crystal moves around. Love it! 💕 Highly recommend

I like the look of these. We have a drop off spot on our driveway. I bought a hanging planter tree and hung one on each side so people see the end of our driveway. Very tasteful. Must say, I have never seen them spin, but they do look very cool when I manually spin them.

We had bought a three tier sun dazzler that included this weighted coil while in Hawaii and it is a favourite distraction on our deck. The wind can get real gusty here and has abused the heck out of it over the years, tearing from its mounting many times. The ball was badly chipped (glass) and the coil showing signs of rust. We replaced all the spinner hardware and found this exact replacement to bring our dazzler back to "like new" condition and it now spins and glitters happily.
