Interviewing for Solutions (HSE 123 Interviewing Techniques)

I needed this textbook for class. It went to good use while I needed it.

As a school counselor I've found this resource to be invaluable and would venture to guess that anyone working with adolescents will find something in this book of value.

I could see that it had been used as the corners were slightly worn - but that was it. Awesome quality.

One of the most helpful books for any helping profession. It should be required reading for nurses, doctors, NPs, PA's, PT, OT, Speech Therapy, Rec Therapy, admin, social workers, etc.

My book was supposed to come with a DVD and it didn't, about which I am highly unsatisfied. I expected more from Amazon, and I normally have no problems with orders fulfilled by Amazon.

Excellent, like new condition. Now to get learning and applying the concepts ;)

I love the size of this book it's so small. I find many of the dialogues helpful. One of the better textbooks I've been forced to purchase.

Excellent book with great insights and techniques for helping clients achieve their goals.

A great introduction when trying to learn about solutions-based therapy. It provides a welcome introduction to the therapeutic approach while also being mindful of the perspective that a therapist should have when interacting with the client under this framework. Emphasizes techniques such as goal-setting, highlighting clients' strengths, and allowing the client to be the leader in defining their own success. The book is hardly anything advanced when it comes to the subject matter - people well-versed in solutions-based therapy may be disappointed in the lack of complexity - it serves as a great introduction to the Solutions-Focused approach.

Really needed this book for my counselling course but since it's missing so much important content I had to rush out and purchase another copy from a real store. Don't buy anything from Paper Cavalier, they don't make good on anything!

I'm fairly certain that this book is counterfeit. It uses different paper and is considerably thicker than my library's copy of the book. I know that counterfeit books tend to use lower quality paper, which is the case here.

Not done yet but a great read and very helpful for therapists
