Set up was easy. Be sure you are set to 2.4 wifi. I have an Oittm but it would no longer connect to their app. This diffuser is just like the Oittm but costs less. Their app is much better and I was able to connect the Oittman to it. (Thank you) I have ordered a second Geenie and now have 3 wifi diffusers. They work great for me and I recommend them!

Another great Geeni smart product that is easy to configure and easy to use. Also works well with Google Assistant.

As a general diffuser, this works great and I have no complaints. However, I wanted to make sure to review this unit as it is one of the few WiFi difusers that I have found and I am sure others wish to know how the unit works with verbal commands, WiFi and initial set up. You do have to download the Geeni app, so had to add yet another app to my hundreds of apps I already have. The set up was easy in the Geeni app. You must add a Geeni account. One problem is that the unit does not work with 5G WiFi, so hopefully you have a 2.4 extender like I do or your router can step down to the slower Wifi format. After you have connected to the Genni app, go to Amazon Alexa and add the Geeni skill. Your device should then show up in the Alexa app. Works rather seamlessly if you have 2.4 WiFi. Only takes a matter of minutes to set up. Verbal command response for Alexa is basically on and off. I did not have much luck asking her to change colors or turn the light off and the mist between full on and intermittent does not work with Alexa either. So the verbal commands are basically ON with intermittent light or OFF completely. The Geeni app does allow you to change the mist type and turn on and off the color light (or turn off completely) and does have a timer if you find that helpful. Overall, not a bad unit for a first try at a WiFi diffuser. My biggest complaint is I wanted to use in my bedroom but I hate having a light blinking, flashing or pulsing as it keeps me awake. I wish this did accept my voice command to turn the light OFF completely. If that function worked, I would have been more inclined to give it 5 stars.

Satisfied with my purchase! I have been using my Geeni for a couple of months now and 1 word.. LOVE! It is super cute and I love the changing colors at night. Easy to use and would be a great gift!

I was so hurt to find out this wont connect to my google home even though the description said it would. So disappointing

First day using it and the setup was super easy!!! I love the fact that I can automate it and change the settings without even touching it. I’ve always wanted to turn my diffuser on and off intermittently during the day so my house smells nice when I get home from work. So far so good. Google assistant responded so fast I was impressed. Looking forward to testing more features. Will update if anything changes.

Worked perfectly at first but now (3 months in) water spewing everywhere. Low-key a hazard . Connects to the Google app super simple. And yes I am only pouring it up to the fill line. 2 star because I'm techy and i love the simple connectivity of it all and i like that my geeni lights are also in the same app but prolly gonna have to trash this if it isn't returnable.
