I have been taking this product for 2 yrs off and on. I have something similar to leaky gut syndrome. I have bouts of extreme stomach gas. When its bad its really bad. Extreme bloating, stomach pain, if its really bad it causes the middle of my spine go into extreme pain. Only way to get past it is to burp for hours. Sometimes 4 or 5 hrs. Its miserable. Now, I take this product 1/2 tsp in juice daily and it keeps it in check. For over 30 yrs I have suffered off and on... Doctors could never figure it out. My doctor finally told me that doctors dont really know a lot about stomach flora and sent me to a Naturopathic which is where I learned about this product and my condition...

If you have a Gluten intolerance which usually is the cause of many GI issues (mine) you can not use this product to heal your gut. It will make your issues worse. Beware of this product if you have Chrones, IBS or SIBO!!!

Recommended by my Naturopath at the cancer center where I was treated. If only I'd known about it prior to chemotherapy and surgeries/antibitics. It repairs, or retains, the integrity of your GI tract by creating a protective barrier for the mucous membrane. Over time, allowing the GI tract to repair itself. I had tried everything! This one worked. I've purchased it for other friends and family members suffering from both upper and GI tract issues, with success. I've recommended it to other cancer patients, and Survivors, to deal with the long lasting effects of cancer treatments.

There is 1.13 grams of xylitol per serving. For somebody dealing with SIBO/IBS this is an unacceptable large amount. I think adding this ingredient in the product is a terrible mistake. If I really want to sweeten it, I can simply add a little honey to the drink where I mix the powder. All the other ingredients look fine for GI related issues.
