I'm short and this vest adjusted perfectly. I also use it to clip on my ipod. Very comfortableI tried out the Stark Reflective vest over the few days and I have to say it works really great. I like it because it is not a full vest just the straps so it doesn't add clothing or weight to me while I'm walking. I think in the summer time I will appreciate this more. It was comfortable to wear and I barely noticed it. It is very noticeable and you can see it from a long distance away. The easy snap belt makes putting it on and off really easy. I also liked that it is adjustable, I ordered the large/X-large and it was bigger then I thought, but it was really easy to adjust the straps. I feel a lot safer when I'm wearing it, which is probably the best part. I would recommend this for anyone who is walking or running in a high traffic area or if you might need one for a job where you have low visibility. I received this product free or at a reduced price for my honest feedback.

First ImpressionMy first impression of the vest coming out of the box was: 1) wow, this is light weight 2) wow, this is NEON yellow and 3) it reminds me of a construction worker. (That last one might not seem like a good thing, but honestly, when the whole point is to be seen by cars, I'd say that's an excellent thing.) The vest itself is high quality, good stitching & includes a strong buckle - all great benefits.I was a little nervous about sizing. I normally wear a size large, but the vest only comes in two sizes - S/M/L and L/XL. I was a little baffled about which size to choose for that reason, but decided to go with the smaller one (S/M/L). In the picture above I'm wearing just a tank top & long sleeve shirt, but I have the vest as loose as it will go. Once I put on my outer fleece jacket it fit a bit tighter, but not at all uncomfortable. If you plan to wear this vest with many layers, you might consider the L/XL size, but my fear would be whether or not it would then be too big during the summer when you wear less layers. (If I had to come up with a complaint about this product - the confusion in picking sizes would be my only one.)The ExperienceMy Stark Reflective Vest lived up to what the company promised. The vest was light weight and comfortable. I was highly visible running along the side of the road, but not at all bothered by the vest. I imagine that while sprinting you might notice the buckle move a bit, but I think tightening it up would have fixed that problem.Overall I'm thrilled with the product - it serves the exact purpose I was looking for without any negative side effects. I would highly recommend it for walking, running, biking, or any other activity that requires greater visibility. (Hubs even said that if he were to ever work construction again - he did before the economic changes that 2009 brought on - he'd steal it from me. So I think it's fair to say there isn't anything gender specific about its design, so you could feel safe purchasing it for anyone.)

We do lots of walking in our family and my hubby also likes to job. This was given to us free* to try and review and I think it will keep us safe in the future. It is very adjustable so it can fit my teen daughter, my husband and just barely myself. The only one that it doesn't fit is my 10 year old son, he's pretty thin though..and he could try to wear it but it would hang kind of weird on him. It was very easy to adjust between sizes so it is something that we all could wear as needed if we needed to be out and about in the dark at night.The yellow is very bright and the reflective part is just grey when no light is hitting it. When any kind of light like headlights, flashlights or even the flash on the camera hit it, it looks like it is lighting up. You definitely can see someone who is wearing this. I think this will be really good for us to take camping and have someone wear at night when we are taking trips to the bathroom in the dark, that way the rest of the group could see whoever is wearing this as the lead person and just in case anyone is driving around that time of night. It happens at some camp grounds, rangers making rounds or people trying to visit friends at other sites, etc. I would also highly recommend this to anyone who works as a crossing guard at a school!*regardless of getting this reflective vest for free this is my 100% honest opinion.

Staying safe means staying visible for those that like to jog, power walk or just walk their pet in the evening or early morning hours. This is a great little product. The buckle is sturdy, it adjusts very easily and yet remains snug when you're done adjusting and it lights up the night.I am 6 foot tall and 160 pounds (skinny), it fit me with a few adjustments and still had room to go. I would guess it could easily fit someone who is about 6'3". If you have more girth you would probably have to go with the larger version. The one I chose was the small medium large.This is great for running walking, biking, ATV riding, anything at night where you need to be seen. If you're doing something around traffic I recommend purchasing this as well as blinking lights that can attach to the bands, can't be too safe at night. Have fun.
