Excellent product for back pain
I have been using this daily for the past month and half. I used to have severe back pain and was unable to sleep. I was advised to apply some pain relieving jel and sleep on top of a heat pad and it has helped tremendously. Sound sleep with 0 pain since I started using this. Good for strained neck as well

I will be buying as gifts from now on, I love mine
Perfect- what I have been looking for and could no find elsewhere. Can be microwaved easily. Super soft, not too hot. I bought three and plan on buying more for gifts and care packages.

worked great...until it started leaking
Edit: revised down to 1 star as after finding source of leaking flax seed (it was actually three spots, all at the top of the sewn channels). Sewing is not my long suit so maybe someone more skilled would've done a better job but as you can see from the second picture, after sewing up the holes, the fabric was so thin and stretched so tightly that it almost immediately tore open again. The third picture is a flax seed heating pad given to me by a relative in Sweden in 2015. It's had frequent use through most of the year (it goes into the freezer in summer) for several years, and has held up great. It has an inner closed bag (no sewn channels), and an outer washable sleeve. Will look for another like this design (the expensive one purchased here is single layer and not washable).Got this in March 2020, along with it's smaller cousin by the same manufacturer. This one was $50, quite spendy but I would've felt worth it for something that performs well. Our winters get quite cold, and these hold the heat better than a hot water bottle. They're also great chilled in warm weather or if you've got some muscle inflammation.A few months ago, I started noticing a few flax seeds on the floor, and thought I must've been careless with my toast. Then I saw what I thought were small beetles on my sheets and realized they, too, were flax seeds. The sack appears to be leaking but I can't find the source to patch it. You can see from the pic that one of the channels seems less full than the others. Probably won't order again as it hasn't held up well (6 months of light-moderate use).

Decent microwaveable heating pad.
I am using this microwaveable heating pad for the second time right now. I like the length, b/c it stretches across the entire length of my lower back. I like that it has channels that keep the contents evenly distributed. I wish there was at least one more row higher, to give me better coverage. But over all it works well enough. There is a slight scent. It isn’t overwhelming, though. It doesn’t get as warm as other microwaveable heating pads I have tried. But the heat feels more moist and I think it will loosen my muscles without burning me. Day two, no burning smell when heating it up. That is wonderful. I have had problems with others smelling burnt and creating hot spots. So far, so good. I might even get a second one.
