Seems to do the job
Seems to do the job. No critters last couple of days since put the boxes out.Easy to handle and refill using the key, pets would have to break the box to get in so unlikely to happen but could put a weight on top of it if worried.

Where are the instructions?
5 Boxes of roshield mice bait arrived promptly, only criticism so far is there is no instruction leaflet. Are the boxes just placed in appropriate places, why is there a red key on one box, is it for opening and refilling? There are two openings in each box, is that for mice to pop in, have a look round, and pop out again? We have checked the website, but it will not let us access manuals unless we sign up for newsletters, and we don' want to do that.

Loose poison! Not safe for pets/ kids
Be careful opening- Loose poison! Traps came loose in a box with no wrapping. Bits of poison inside the delivery box and on the trap exteriors. Not safe for pets or children.

Only one key for 5 boxes isn't great.
These are easy to use and seem effective, however I did find it quite surprising that for 5 boxes you only receive one key. What happens if the key breaks, it is only plastic. Would it really hurt to put a key in each box.

Super effective
We've had a couple of mice in the flat recently and before the management co could get pest control out, we decided on a pack of these & a couple from B&Q to see if we could thin the herd a little and give ourselves some peace of mind. I was slightly sceptical regarding effectiveness to be honest, but they've exceeded expectations. The B&Q ones remain completely untouched, whilst these have wrought much sorrow upon Mickey's household. If you know where the critters like to run, then stick a couple of these along their path and watch the body count rise. If you're not sure of their favourite routes, stick them down against walls etc and check every day or two (there's a little key supplied that lets you open the box). If the red block inside hasn't been touched, relocate. If the block has been nibbled and there's crumbs of it inside, you're on the right track. They're literally taking the bait and you can expect the mousey grim reaper to pay a visit shortly. Also, if you are using these inside the home, be warned that in our experience the critters seem to quite often expire within sight of the traps themselves. Of the 4 we've sent to meet their maker so far we found them all within a foot, at most, of the box. Anyone who tells you they nibble at these and then head off away somewhere to drift peacefully off to rodent heaven is talking out of their arse. So be prepared to undertake corpse removal & disposal.

I’ve had the bait stations at various points outside as most nights I’d find a field mouse under my sink in a humane trap I put down. I had secured what I could see and had no idea how they were getting in. I put an electric trap under the sink now as fed up with taking them to release them away from the house. I checked the bait stations today and 3 have been nibbled at and I have had no evidence of any visitors under the sink
