HEIRLOOM QUALITY ROLLING PIN! Made in USA!
I am EXTREMELY happy with the purchase of this rolling pin! . . . it reminds me of something my beloved grandmother would use while preparing pastries for her family in the Northwoods of Minnesota . . . It reminds me of the scent of wood-burning stoves and pine trees . . .This is a HEIRLOOM QUALITY rolling pin! You will be able to pass it on for many years to come. It is not a cheap imitation. I would actually call this a "work of art" and a "work of craftsmanship".The rolling pin is created from high-quality wood that is PERFECTION! It is obvious that an artisan proudly created this product. This is QUALITY! This is CRAFTSMANSHIP!. . . Please follow the instructions provided and DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER and DO NOT SOAK UNDERWATER!

Beautifully made and finished in Maine.
I took off one star because mine in barely 1 3/4”diameter. It is beautifully made, finished and I am Very pleased with it. This is my first dowel rolling pin. I have always used but never liked the traditional American rolling pin. The length is also much better at 18.5” vs the standard 12-13” ones. I think I will like this one much better. The price point is excellent. I just wish companies would be accurate In their descriptions. This is a recurring problem with Many of the items I purchase on Amazon.

Very Nice Rolling Pin
A local baking instructor / chef recommended these. They are simple, easy to clean, and large enough for larger projects. Very smooth surface, nicely finished, straight grained maple. I 'test rolled' it on a flat surface and it was dead flat: no lifting at the ends or center. I will lightly soften an edge left at each end with some fine sandpaper for aesthetic reasons (it does not touch the dough), and seal mine with cutting board oil to help protect the wood against moisture.

American made. Nice pin.
Great rolling pin. Thick enough to handle easily, well made from hard maple. Nice to be able to buy something made in America for a change. I did have to laugh at the note on the box declaring it has a lifetime warranty. While that's nice, it's a 2"x19" chunk of wood. Short of it being attacked by a bunch of berserk termites, I don't think I need to worry to much about having to send it back for repairs.

Wonderful rolling pin.
I do a fair bit of woodworking and this is a nicely crafted rolling pin. Rock Maple is a very hard wood I use in my cutting boards.Fit and finish are perfect. Id guess theres a 180-220grit finish sanding. Edges are nicely rounded. Feels silky smooth in your hand. Comes as a raw wood pin, you need to oil it.The easy to miss directions state seasoning the wood with mineral oil. Just like a cutting board. Any good board oil should work.Just make sure you oil it BEFORE you use it, otherwise water will raise the grain on the wood and it will feel rough. If that happens id say just resand it by hand with a 220grit paper.Made in Maine, USA. Thats worth a few extra bucks in my opinion.Material: Solid Rock Maple18.5in long2" roughly diameter6in circumferenceNo handles, the way it should be.

Quality
Haven't used it yet but I can tell it's a quality product. One solid hefty piece of wood. Polished smooth, no imperfections. LOVE that it was made in the USA with care.Originally I had ordered a more expensive amish made rolling pin and was so disappointed. It was 3 pieces glued together and also had 3 small holes from knots in the wood which made it unsafe to use for food. This one is more affordable and better quality.

This was exactly what I wanted!
This rolling pin has a great weight and it is wide enough for large pie. Easy cleaning!
