20 PCS/LOT Lilypad Coin Cell Holder CR2032 Mount Module Lily Pad for Arduino Small Slide Switch Board

Simple enough to review, the battery contacts are absolutely horrid - I have taken absolutely fresh CR2032 cells, tested the voltage, and found that you have to seat these "perfectly" to get them to stably contact the +/- terminals - removing the batteries shows that the simple act of inserting one causes scratching on the contact surface.You can feel serious physical resistance when attempting to put the CR2032 into the holder... read below.More than that - I embedded a handful of these in projects, placed batteries inside, and when I went to look at them yesterday (~90 days after putting them together) the simple fact that they were pushing on the cage (since they are seated so tightly) actually disconnected the cage from the backing on ~50% of the ones I had put together. I mean that the batteries literally were so tight they pushed the holder apart. The batteries were sitting below the pieces I had put together as they had completely fallen out.Do not buy these.

Garbage, absolute garbage!I bought a couple hundred of these for a STEM class I teach. After putting in a CR2032 battery, about 20% of the battery holders broke. I'm not sure what's going on but the metal bracket that hold the battery appears to be putting too much pressure on the battery to retain it. The bracket is breaking at the solder points. Maybe the solder is not up to the task or something...All the battery holders that did not break worked fine. I would not buy these again and I would spend the money buying a higher quality option.

Where to start....... These are bad quality knock offs of the real lily pad product. they do not fit 2023 batteries which is what they are made for. They also scratch up the pad under the battery when you insert and removing is soooo hard if you even get it in there. I returned this garbage.
