I needed to keep my hands free to conduct online demonstrations but the last thing I wanted was another hi-tech product that might run out of battery power, might not sync up, etc. This product worked out great for me and I bought a second one for my other office. The newer one is even nicer as the mouthpiece boom is more flexible and can be worked into more positions. Have not had a single problem making or answering a call with this phone.

I have been searching for an easy to use phone now that I work from home, adjusting the head set volume is key. Wish it was a two ear head set but have to have give and take

The product did not function as stated. Dial tone only from headset. Speaker and headset would not work. Tried to go online for support and the only contact was a @Yahoo email.I blame me for not doing due diligence before purchasing the product

I was disappointed in the quality of the phone. I used it for 3 days and the head piece broke off. I tried to put it back on but it kept falling off and the metal portion stuck in my head during calls. I follow the instructions of the booklet and didn't contact Amazon directly. The issue they went back and forth offering money instead of making sure the product was a quality product. Just to get past the repeated emails I just said send the money (25.00)so I can purchase another headset. For the money I expected better quality. The other thing that disappointing is the phone hangs up on calls. When you push the button to answer it hangs up the call. You have to let the phone ring twice before pressing the button for the call to come through which does not work for the company I'm working for the total of calls lost messed up my call quality which dropped tremendously.I like the ideal of having the headset along with the speaker so when I have long hold times I can remove the headset to continue to listen for the caller. That music can be so loud. I haven't decided to keep the phone yet. Like I said the phone is not the quality needed for working from home and if it cause my quality of service decrease I may not have a choice.

Given the modest price, this is a fair performer, but I would prefer to spend more money to get some more features. For example, I am not sure that it is possible to adjust the volume of the speakerphone. The mic volume, my listeners tell me, seems low (and I speak loudly) and is not adjustable; also the key tones when using the headset are LOUD regardless of how the headset volume is adjusted. I can't dial a number with the headset on as the volume of the key tones is painfully loud. The features seem oddly implemented, for example, the handset volume is on the rear of the base and difficult to reach without looking. I wanted to be excited but about the only thing to be excited about is the audio quality in the headset (which I why I bought this unit) is better than my cordless phones. I would rather have spent more to get a better unit.

I was having trouble finding a phone that could work as a digital phone or landline phone. This phone allows you to do both.
