There is so much wrong with this product I don't know where to start. I guess I'll start with the first problem I encountered. I have an old PT-1700 which the product description claims to support, but that is completely false.When printing, the letters would either be squished or outright overlapping each other. While watching it print I could see the problem, it doesn't feed correctly. So I took a closer look at the cartridge and discovered one of the two gears has no teeth, but the official Brother cartridge has teeth on both gears. Which is why I also have to manually feed it just to get it out most of the time. Four of the Six cartridges are completely incapable of feeding correctly to get a legible print. Trust me, I printed a lot attempting to get it to work. The instructions say to "tighten" the gear with teeth, but that actually does nothing. It just spins infinitely, if it was actually tightening anything there would be tension, so I have no idea what the company was smoking when they came up with that dumb instruction.The two remaining cartridges can get legible prints, but never the first time it has been powered on which I honestly can't figure out why. 100% failure rate after turning on, but most subsequent prints are legible, and just have to be manually fed to not get cut off prematurely. Brother cartridge has legible prints 100% of the time, no matter what and feeds properly.Not all the labels are the same color. Some are the expected white, but others look like they've been in direct sunlight for years as the white appears more yellowish.And finally, the "Easy to peel, split- Back design" actually makes it more difficult to peel, I take twice as long peeling each individual strip than I do peeling the single strip on the Brother cartridge.All in all, I'd probably save money buying a single Brother cartridge than six of these trashy cartridges. I certainly will save time and frustration and produce less waste. I will never buy this brand again.

These small tapes are wonderful. I have every other size of label tape offered for my machine but I was looking for something smaller to make ingredients labels for my handmade soaps. These were perfect! They print clearly, are a petite size, easy to apply to a multitude of surfaces, and the price is unbeatable. This company offers FOUR label cartridges for the cost of ONE Brother cartridge - and there is absolutely no quality difference. As an avid label user I will stick with these instead of buying the higher-priced name brand again. I am very happy with my purchase and find it easy to highly recommend these label cartridges to others. The only thing you'll miss are the empty pockets you have after purchasing the name brand!

Extremely disappointed in this product. One of the cassettes I ordered in this set is defective. The tape is black, wrinkled and off center. Then the laminated part does not stick and prints in black which is not visible over black tape. I have to remove the loose laminated portion which leaves black tape with white writing that just scratches right off. The second tape I tried works fine but I paid for two.

I like everything about these except they don't stick to cardboard boxes that well. I don't know how they compare to the genuine Brother ones as those are just too expense. I used about 10 rolls of this stuff to label 16mm movie cans and so far the tape has stuck to the cans.

I used these on My Brother Labeler. I found it too expensive to purchase the Brother brand. I researched & decided to try these. I am very pleased with the product and the price. I will reorder them again. What good is the labeler if you cannot afford to purchase the tape and be able to use it. I highly recommendThis company and their products.

I was hesitant to purchase 6 packs after reading some of the negative reviews, but now that I received my order and tried it, I realize some people just complain about everything. The first cartridge I installed worked perfectly; the paper peels off just fine, and the labels stick to their intended surface. I'm glad I bought 6 at the better price, and will never pay full price at the stores again! Yes, it's made in China, but it's a good quality product that fits my Brother P-Touch. Thank you.Update July, 2020: This off-brand label tape works great...every bit as good as the more expensive name brand. This is my second order....had zero problems with the first batch.

If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.Every time I set aside that lesson, I get reminded to pay attention better.Despite lots of good reviews, every. single. cartridge. failed.we "tightened" things up as suggested. Would get 1-3 inches of functional labels. Then the tapes would split and no amount of tightening, resetting etc. could save things.I think Brother is overcharges wildly for their refills, but I've never had a single failure with the OEM. A deal has no value when the product is garbage.It's just too much bother to do a return.

I run a business that I need to label bins and folders and was concerned I might run into issues using these labels, but decided to give it a try after reading several reviews, the good and the bad! I have absolutely nothing negative to say...I'm impressed by the quality of the labels. They printed correctly, they peeled easily and the adhesion is strong and not peeling up, etc. I will be back to purchase again!
