Applied to leather: This is a cleaner and it is meant to clean leather.....and then coat it with LEXOL Conditioner. The length of time that it is "good for" would depend on a few things: A. Condition and/or age of the leather. B. Proper application of cleaner/conditioner. C. Use 1. Car seat 2.luggage/ cases 3. Shoes/boots 4. Jackets/ vests 5. Environment where used and/or stored a. wet b. dusty c. temperature There are a lot of things to consider. It is best to use a on a hidden area or scraps first. I will say that LEXOL is the best product that I have ever used and you can get good support from their Customer Service. **Q: Will this help at all for faux leather?
