Vilano Journey Inflatable SUP Stand up Paddle Board Kit

I bought 2 of these and my sister and I have been paddling them for 6 months. We love them. Very easy to set up, stable and easy to paddle. The carry strap is convent when carrying the board but the D rings on the side sometimes catch my sisters paddle although I have not had this issue. We added a few accessories that have really added to the experience. First we got the seyvlor 12 volt 15 psi sup pump. It works great and automatically shuts off at the right pressure. Next we got a 4 piece kayak paddle and kayak seat. This makes life a lot easier when going up wind. There have been a few days we would not have been able to paddle without them. I got the shoreline marine propel universal kayak seat. It is a good seat for the money but a more expensive seat would give more back support. The solstice 4 piece quick release paddle has been a great paddle for the money. We use our carry strap as a foot brace by attaching it to the D rings on top of the board which helps your back when sitting down to paddle. For going down wind I use a golf umbrella as a sail. Finally I got drop clothes from Home Depot to keep the boards clean while deflating and folding up the boards.

I am in love with my new paddleboard. I was sceptical getting an inflateable SUP, but I did some research and this seemed to be the best for your money, and it is! I just couldn't financially commit to buying a rigid board. I am able to put my dog on with me and I'm not afraid his nails are going to puncture it, and we balanced well on the board (he's about 60lbs.). I just recommend getting an electric pump if you can afford it, because once you get to 11psi on the pump it gets really tiring trying to get to 13-15psi. I also love how this breaks down into its bag, if I wanted to take it on a hike to a lake it's only about 25lbs and it sits well enough to where it doesn't break your back. Really happy with this purchase!!

I had some trouble at first thinking the psi gauge was broken but then I realized you have to pump for a good 10 minutes and i thought it was full much sooner. After inflating and deflating a few times I got the hang of it. I saw a review here saying that it’s not stable for the ocean, but I was just there yesterday in open water for 4 hours with absolutely no troubles at all. Absolutely no complaints.

This paddeboard is absolutely awesome! I was hesitant to buy it since there is not many reviews, but thankfully I took the risk and love this board! It arrived in 4 days which is super fast, and the color of the board is so pretty. I immediately opened the package and started pumping it with air using the pump. I would say inflating the entire board took about 7 minutes of pumping, and the last 2 minutes i was kind of breaking a sweat. My arms are going to look real good after a few times of this! The paddle is good quality and adjustable to any height which is great. I put the board in my swimming pool and started to practice balancing on it. This was my first time ever on a paddle board or anything like this. It took just a few minutes for me to figure out the balance and started to stand up. It's so fun! I started to try some yoga poses and I can definitely see how it will be a great core toning workout. Super fun and I'm so excited to use this in lakes and the beach! there is surprisingly a large community of SUP'ers around me and lots of awesome pages on instagram to follow!!!! Great board!

I've had this board for a week and I've been on the water 3 times. All I can say is I LOVE IT!!I'm a beginner paddleboarder. Prior to this purchase I had rented and taken a one paddle board lesson about a year ago. I wasn't sure what to expect with an inflatable paddleboard, I was slightly skeptical BUT I am beyond satisfied with this purchase. Why? For the price point, you can't beat it. Paddleboard, pump, paddle, travel bag, etc... It beats out other competitors. Yes it does feel different than the hard board I was on for my one lesson, but I'm not skilled or experienced enough to know if it matters at this point.... All I know is I am having FUN, FUN, FUN! For way less money and for more trimmed triceps and abs from the pumping. You Got to Pump it Up! I timed it. 11 minutes from 0 to 15 PSI.I'm actually going to purchase another one as a spare for friends/family.

I really wanted to own my own paddle board, but i was concerned about the high cost and the practicality of lugging a large paddle board back and forth to the water, loading it onto a roof rack, etc. This board solved both of those problems. In my opinion, it's a great value. It appears well made and being a 5'2 petite lady, i have had no struggles transporting it. Even when inflated, it's not that heavy and the detachable carrying strap makes it really easy. The gear straps on the top of the board are super useful for storing items when going out on long trips. That being said, i will admit it takes a bit of work to inflate. I have a portable car air pump that i bought for tubing that i use to inflate the board halfway, but you have to use the hand pump for the rest. This gets a little tough when you get to the last few psi. Also, it feels a slightly less stable in the water than other non-inflatable stand up paddle boards that I've tried. However, I'm guessing that these issues are to be expected with an inflatable board. Overall, I am very pleased with it!

Love the look of this board, it's pretty stable as well! It's fairly light and easy to manage. Speaking from a 5"3' woman. I was able to load it on top of my suv roof rack no problem. It's easy to carry without shoulder strap, I tried hanging on to the center handle with the shoulder strap and it didnt work well. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because when it arrived paint leaked on the bag and leash, making it look like bird poo and It was new. I expected a new looking board plus accessories. Amazon prime reimbursed me for that. I like that the foam part is grey, hides dirt better. The whole board to me looks super good on the water!! I used an Airhead Super Pump from Canadian Tire. Best pump out there.
