Strong, very comfortable leather cuffs. Far more affordable than other leather cuffs, and these are perfectly adjustable for any size wrist/ankle. If you like the symbolism, strength and security of leather, the care and comfort of sheepskin, and are looking for a wide, very secure cuff, you have found it. (Don't miss the factory seconds, which have minor stitching errors, but cost half price!).If your...wearer...has *very* narrow wrists, you might want to modify these by trimming the end of the cuff with the velcro strap so it will fit through the D-ring, then re-stitching the fleece (yes, the fleece is actually stitched, not glued - these are high quality!). My girl's wrists tend to use the smallest hole on any cuff we try (she's 5'5", 110lb), and these fit nicely after this modification. Without trimming, I'd have to either put the D-ring under the velcro strap (a little uncomfortable for her), or fold the leather some to fit through the D-ring. Each would work, but with a little crafting, these become perfect. Don't let this deter you, though. Only very small wrists are smaller than these cuffs, and even still, a little bending can get the main part of the cuff through the d-ring, and still tightened down. These are nice! She immediately complimented the fit and feel (especially on her ankles, where other cuffs' edges tend to irritate her skin) and actually asked to use these again vs. others. Your partner will love these.

These are so much better than Velcro straps. They are much more rugged and are so soft on the skin. I would like the rings to be closer together. I have a hard time getting a D-Ring to secure to both strap rings. Maybe my legs are just big.

In the market for an ankle cuff? Maybe a pair? These cuffs are definitely a great option! Contraband certainly hit the mark with these; They're a very nice, wide strap with sufficient padding, yet light enough to not feel overly bulky while wearing them. The D-rings and stitching, so far, are very durable! They're definitely designed for strength and instill confidence while doing workouts! Though I have not had these straps long, I feel confident in saying they will hold up to substantial, grueling workouts! I have used them through a few very power oriented workouts (explosiveness coupled with heavy weight) and they performed spectacularly! I will say that the strap itself is plenty long. Personally, I have pretty thin ankles (9 inches), so the contact of the Velcro is reduced, yet still holds under heavy loads no problem! Overall, I would absolutely recommend these cuffs to anyone in the market for one, or even a pair! Quality is great, price point is great, aesthetically appealing, and simply do their job!

I have only used this one time since I have gotten it, so here's my first impression. I am a 5'5" female who uses this for kick backs at the gym. It was sturdy--much better than the one I bought at Sports Authority for about the same price. The two rings instead one--like on my other band--did seem to reduce the pressure that was hitting the back part of my leg. I don't have big ankles so there was a slight overlap. If you have big ankles, the rings might not be close enough together to attach both of them to the ring, but someone with big ankles will have to confirm that. Also, the lambskin really doesn't provide any cushioning because it's not very thick; it does, however, make the band nonabrasive on the skin. Since my other band doesn't have any cushioning, this is a step up. If you want more cushioning, you will need to pay more to find bands similar to what the gym uses. I am glad that I bought this.

Great. I love this ankle strap. I use it for doing all kinds of cable kick backs. One thing I need to mention is I broke it. This may have been from user error. I was doing kick backs of 70 lbs. And the loop had rotated and was caught on the corner instead of the rounded side of the ring. I was only utilizing one loop and it did break. I contacted the company and WITHOUT QUESTION offered to ship me a replacement the SAME DAY! (They only asked me to send a photo of the damaged product) They said it may have been a weak weld on the seem. Not only did they ship me a replacement they sent me 2! I am very happy about this because it makes switching back and forth between legs much faster. I have also started using both loops to reduce the chances of malfunction in the future. I do think these are sturdy material and I like the fuzzy lining because it makes it so much more comfortable to wear even on my skin without a sock or legging in between. Great product and great customer service! This company stands behind their product and customer satisfaction is important to them!My tip: use both rings if possible.

I have to say that although this is just my second purchase from Contraband Sports, I am very impressed with the quality of their products. I am a fitness competitor/addict and use the cable machine 1-2x per week for lower body exercises. My gym has the standard straps to use with the cable, however, it's tricky, doesn't fit right, doesn't support my ankle, etc. etc. The Contraband cuff has great support, fits well- even with my little ankles- is soft, durable, can handle weight, and is so smooth! I feel like I am able to pull more weight comfortably, safely, and make my workouts more effective.I highly recommend this AND the weight lifting gloves! I plan to make more purchases in the very near future.

My gym didn't have any ankle straps to switch out with at the cable machines so I was using the regular handle to do cable kickbacks. After buying this, cable kickbacks (and other leg exercises on the cable machine) have been so much easier to execute and has allowed me to lift heavier in weight. The fleece-like cotton material on the inside makes the movement feel so much more comfortable and doesn't irritate my skin. What I love about this band too is how it fits my small ankle and fits my boyfriend's thick muscular ankle! Keep in mind that the image makes it look small but in real life it's pretty big (but that's a good thing since it allows for more support to be covered a bigger area).

I expected more padding. Still, works and does the job.
