Women's Evaporative Cooling Sport Vest

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked for me. I live in a hot, dry climate, so I chose the silver color to reflect the sun. The vest works through evaporation so it may not work as well in a humid climate. It is extremely lightweight while dry, and reminds me of a lead vest used for x-rays when it is wet. The weight of the vest is not an issue while riding a bike. I haven't tried hiking with it yet. The cooling vest has allowed me to remain active on my bicycle throughout the hot summer.

I use this on my construction job. As long as there’s a slight wind blowing definitely will keep you cool. Stays wet for at least three or four hours in 95° heat. The neck fan I got along with this is a difference between being miserable and comfortable.

I got one that was too big, but it definitely made a difference on an 800mi drive in a car with no AC. Next im going to try it while bicycling.Works best if you can wear it bare chested, but works ok under a tshirt too

Decided to purchase for a long, hot motorcycle ride. Upon initial use it did provide some cooling, but as the miles piled on and the day got warmer, the vest just felt like a wet vest. The material did stay wet, but it was too dense to allow evaporative cooling to take place.

I'm 72 and have for decades dealt with heat exhaustion. I use this when doing yard work, and found it very cooling. I wish the company would make a hat to go with it.I followed directions and placed it in cold water for about 2 minutes in the early morning. Later that afternoon, I took it to a neighbor to show and the vest was still wonderfully cool.It does get you a bit wet if you put it one right away after wringing out, but a very small price to pay for some nice cooling comfort.When it dries out, it feels like it just weighs a matter of ounces. When wet, you can feel the weight, but it's not uncomfortable.

I had one of there before, but I'm pretty sure my neighbor stole it from my clothes line when I hung it out to dry. This thing cools as the water evaporates, but you need a well ventilated jacket and low humidity. Some moisture does seep into your shirt, contrary to what the manufacturer says, but it's not an issue. On really hot days, at highway speed, you nay need to re-soak after an hour or so, otherwise, it will usually work for a couple hours or more.

product was ok,had older one,this one zipper was not sewn correctly ...wouldn't buy online,get from store to make sure it was put together right

We live in 90° to 115° in summer months. This vest has made working in the garden so much more enjoyable. On the hotter days i set the bucket of water in the freezer to cool the water even more and it works like a charm. The product seems to run a little big. I ordered a XL, probably should have ordered a large.
