ACTIVYL Toy Dogs & Puppies 4-14lbs, 3-pack

It was Activyl, but not the one displayed. They subbed with one that included tic protection. It's a bit stickier than just flea product but that will work out for now since we plan on being in tic country for a few days soon. I understand the factory that manufactures Activyl has stopped production due to severe flooding there.

First time using the product. Frontline has stopped working in the area for years so we have gone to using advantage or advantage based products. The dog still seems to itch and be annoyed. So under some research decided to try this product. Will have to update when knowing more. What did notice that the product was the dose packaged where you cut the top and apply to the back of the neck near the shoulders like most are so nothing new there. What was impressive is that it was so well bubbled that most if not all the product were dispensed on the animal in a single pump of the product. Nothing was left behind on the hands like so many have done in the past.

We don't need tick control here; but I could not find the one that my vet has me use which is simply for fleas. So I was glad to get this one for flea & ticks, but it cost me more. I hope I can find the plain one that is just for fleas when I get this one used up.

I have been using this for several months And mostly I am happy with the product. I've had a couple of fleas on me over the summer but I have 6 pets. Only 1 uses this product. My dog doesn't itch and I have not seen any fleas on her while using this product.Today I'm giving 3 stars because my box of Activyl arrived flattened. Obviously a UPS truck had run it over. The product was as flat as is possible. Why would Amazon send my box in an envelope? Unacceptable by both UPS and Amazon.

I have been using this product for years it’s great but I’m very sad to learn they are no longer manufacturing it

I just received the Activyl (for Dogs & Puppies) today. It is made by a subsidiary of Merck...Intervet, Inc. Not one place can I find made in the USA. I always want ALL the info on anything I put on my dogs or cat. It does have a BIG WARNING about keeping it away from cats...even goes so far as to say, "Keep cats away from treated dogs for24 hrs or until product has dried. NO 800 number, just contact your veterinarian immediately. I'll update you IF & WHEN I decide to use it . The instructions inside the box were so tightly glued, I had to cut them out so as to read them😠& then try to read them without tearing the paper any more.

This got the fleas off all three of my dogs. A Blue Healer. A Puggles. A Pekipom. I live in Florida where fleas are so difficult to get rid of. I have been using this for about 3 years now.

It actually works unlike other flea medicine that I've tried this year.
