Good quality
Cutter works good and easy to cut due to the ratchet action.

Second pair in 3 years- so worth the money!
I am a garden designer and use these all the time. They finally gave up last month. I have small, not too strong hands. I prune like a rock star!!They cut like BUTTAH! Gotta have on your potting table.

Nice and cuts big branches
I love this for cutting through larger branches. The only draw backs: It is not really sturdy, a bit flimsy, but does the job and I am not sure if it would last one season with my needs, the other thing is is that it does need sharpening often, but it is easy and works like a charm when sharp. Update: I have been using it daily and it is showing serious signs of wear, not cutting sometimes by not engaging the ratcheting mechanism. It's also "wobbly" like it is going to falll apart down the road soon

Easier on my hands
Much more comfortable on arthritic hands…

durable
Best racheting clippers we have ever had. Easy to use, especially for older folks with weakening strength.

Sharp blade, difficult handle latch
The shears are good for pruning and the ratchet feature is helpful. However the latch to lock the handle is extremely difficult to put in place. My wife has arthritis in her hands and and does not have the hand strength to work the handle latch. For an item advertised as being good for people with weak hands and arthritis, this latch is poorly designed.

Well Made and powerful
I've purchased a LOT of different ratcheting pruners in the past few years. Most just don't make the grade. They work for a few cuts and start to bind up or lose their edge. I tried these pruners and they have been working great. I've used them cutting up branches from a purple mountain ash and pruning back all manner of shrubs. Now I have larger hands and they were comfortable to grip. If you have smaller hands they may be harder for you to grip for longer periods of time.So far these are a winner!

Like These Pruning Shears
Had to replace my old, worn out ratcheting pruning shears. Found these on Amazon, read the reviews and ordered a pair. They worked like my old shears so I am very satisfied. The ratcheting feature makes cutting easy on my hands. The blade is nice and sharp. Liked them so well, I ordered 2 pairs for my sister in Hawaii. She seems to like them also. Besides, the price was right. I use my pruning shears to death, so hopefully, they'll last a while. I am pleased with my purchase. I will probably buy another pair or two just to have a backup. There are lots of shears on the market that are 2 to 3 times the price of these and probably wouldn't last any longer than these. Why not just buy 2 or 3 pair of these MLTOOLS shears.
