Boy, was that an understatement! These cherries are nothing like a Maraschino cherry, which taste like cheap candy in comparison. The taste is so different, it takes some getting used to. Everyone that has smelled and tried them has had a "different take/opinion" on what they smell and taste like, but all have been positive. The syrup and the cherries are not as sweet as Maraschinos, but that's not a bad thing. Now I can't imagine making an Old Fashion with a cherry in it that wasn't an Amarena cherry.The jar it comes in is very classy looking, and you can leave them unrefrigerated for some time after opening (as long as your house is relatively cool). Yes, they are not cheap. Just treat yourself! You'll be glad you did.

Wonderful, rich flavor. The cherries are sweet, tart and tender but whole. The syrup is delicious and full of flavor, not just sugar like others I've had. For a simple treat mixing 2 teaspoons of the syrup and a few cherries with some whipped cream was lovely. I can't wait to try other ideas I have. This one came great but the strawberry I ordered with it came broken. However, I liked this so much I'm reordering both.

These cherries are amazing! I think if he were left alone, my son could eat an entire bottle of these guys in one sitting! They are soooo tasty! They look great and the flavor is such a deep nice cherry that it's hard to believe. We have also used the liquid in the bottle to add a lovely pop to soda and probably alcoholic drinks. I bet it would be amazing over some vanilla ice cream too. Give it a try. You'll be glad you did!

Uniform size, syrup not too sweet

Absolutely the best cherries I have ever experienced. The jar is beautiful and was in perfect condition with no leakage when received. Actually, the jar is the perfect size because you could eat the entire thing in one sitting as the taste and texture are amazing.

Taste great. Yummy in desserts. BUT - if you don’t use this all up within a few weeks, the sugar will clump and crystallize. Not as good as Luxado brand.Save the jar for some cut flowers !

These are just what I needed for my Washington Apple Martini’s!! They are delicious. I had no issues with leaking. Comes in a beautiful decorative jar. What’s not to like? They are now my standing goto. Thank you!
