Always buy McAlpine!
I had bought a cheaper no brand shower trap and it was poor in a number of ways. This product is much better value:1. Higher flow rate.2. Two thicknesses of rubber seal.3. Brass not plastic flange.4. Instructions are clear and detailed.I have got into DIY plumbing this year and I have quickly learnt that every product is better from McAlpine.Delivery from the company was really prompt, came two days early.

Very good trap. You get what you pay for
Very good trap. You get what you pay for. I had brought a cheaper one but it didn't even act as a trap, so the smells came back thru. The McAlpine is well built and fast flow. We use it in a shallow shower tray so the fast flow is great.
