Strobel Organic Waterbed Mattress Hydro-Support 1200 Queen

I've owned numerous waterbed mattresses over the last 30 years. This is a great one. Very well made - but reasonable cost. We have this in the motion and non-motion variety (yes, we have 2 waterbeds). I like a little "give" when I sleep - so this is perfect for me. The non-motion/waveless (I think it is the 1900 series) one is truly non-waveless - I couldn't believe it. Very nice product - would recommend.

Replaced a super single and it leaks in the top left corner had to patch really not happy not interested in replacing because its too much hassle I've purchased other mattresses over the years never had one leak-SAVE YOUR MONEY BUY A $50 MATTRESS!!!

This mattress is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. It was easy to install and fill. The manufacturing is very high quality. We especially appreciate the extra support lumbar section.every night when I get in bed I click my heels , smile, and say " there's no place like bed !"

I've had waterbeds for many years and currently own two. I have had store bought units, built several of my own for self and also for friends.Ok, so I received this mattress and quickly noticed that the corners were not as thick as they used to be on strobel product, maybe it's reserved for more expensive models, the corners pictured are not what you get. In addition, the vinyl seems thinner than what it used to be, I highly doubt the material used is over 20 mills. My other bed has thicker material and is made by sterling, it's claimed to be somewhere around 24 mill.This mattress comes in a pretty blue, darker than what's pictured. The smell is the least stinky from any waterbed mattress I've owned. It comes with one valve; two would be helpful, the sterling and the land and sky I'm replacing have two valves. This makes filling easier as you can evacuate air at the same time instead of having to stop the filling to burp air out.The foam inside seems to be of high quality and is more dense than the land and sky filling, but not better or thicker than the sterling I own. It's tied to all corners to help prevent bunching.The filling went well and the depth is deeper than most other waterbeds. The low tension surface is definitely noticeable and helps reduce pressure on the body. I have a zip top cover and motion lasts 5 or 6 seconds, Mine is filled to frame level, maybe a tad lower. Zipper cover is a good idea and makes entry and exit easier. Exit is better than a full motion, but not much better, it's still requires some effort.Ok, the bottom line, much more fluid and conforming to the body over the land and sky 5500 I'm replacing. It's very comfortable and easy to fall asleep in. I think I would rather buy a sterling over this if I they offered a s-series mattress with the same 2-5-2 foam baffle, but they do not. The bottom line, you cant do much better at this price point, it's a good value and you shouldn't hesitate to buy this.Strobel, I'm giving you four stars, you'll get 5 stars when you upgrade corners like on previous models, add another valve, and use thicker material matching your claim of being thicker than most. The new label by the valve feels cheap, what happened to the printed tags that used to be standard equip? I'd gladly pay for the better options.

I was concerned ordering a waterbed mattress on line considering the hassle to fill if it sucks. It did not suck in fact it rocked....hummm that did not sound quite right.

The support helps keep your body level ,so you won't rest with your chest below head and legs.

We got a bad water bed mattress this is unexceptable and cause a HUGE Problem Now we need to drain it and send it back and go with out a bed again for two weeks

This is so horrible we will have to give up having a water bed when it dies. It was heavy to work with & is extremely uncomfortable to sleep on.
