Muscle Pharm Combat Powder Advanced Time Release Protein, Banana Cream, 2 Pound

I have used protein in just about every shape or form over the past 10 years and I can honestly say this is the best. I bought the Banana Cream flavor and it is delicious. I was kind of in shock by how good it tasted and panicked initially thinking that it must have been loaded with sugar. I was thankfully mistaken, only 2g per serving. This flavor is a real treat. I like to maintain a muscular physique, I am not a body builder, I am not gaining, just a pretty average 5 day a week gym going guy. The directions say to take in 2 of these shakes twice a day (1 shake takes 2 scoops). I only drink 1 a day after my work outs. It has now been 3 weeks of using this and I can see and feel a difference. My recoveries feel better, and the time release throughout the day is great. I use this in a blend bottle with about 200 ml of water and 400 ml of skim milk. It blends easily, no clumps, no mess, it dissolves easily, and tastes great. I am already eyeing up my 2nd bottle..

Despite the unclear amount of whey isolate and the overwhelming amount of sucralose, this powder maintains a respectable protein to weight ratio considering the low calories (thank you sucralose) and offers a taste break from your run of the mill vanilla/chocolate protein powders. Is it the best everyday protein for the money? Unlikely, but does it taste better than the everyday protein and still offer a pretty respectable amount of protein? Yes.

I Love, Love this protein powder. I first found out about Muscle pharm from going into GNC and seeing the same guy there to chit chat about different supplements we both use and what works. I'm a cellucor junky for the most part though I've used several different brands seeing what works for me at the time of my fitness regimen. Well he was telling me all the guys he works with are big Muscle Pharm users and that I should check it out. Well I'm always open to suggestions especially when it comes to protein powders. So I did my research and I liked that Muscle Pharm had a slow released 8hr protein powder, which is perfect for night time recovery while I sleep and I love the fact that this already includes BCAA. I decided to order the Banana flavor since I've got my immediate fast acting Cellucor protein powder in peanut butter flavor already. Well let me tell you, this is Absolutely Delicious! I can easily shake it up when I'm in a rush right in my protein shaker bottle and it breaks down easily. My husband is in love with flavor and looks like I'm slowly starting to incorporate Muscle Pharm products into my fitness regimen, just so my body gets a good switch up and not use to only one brand. I currently ordered shred and another Muscle Pharm product and I'm really looking forward to trying it out. This is a decent price and it's much cheaper to get on Amazon than in GNC, unless they're running specials or something. I'm going to try the PB flavor next for sure. So glad I was told about this!

It is not as good as I expected. This time It took longer time to deliver and I guess the hot weather sorta ruined the taste.

It's okay. People were raving about the Banana Cream flavor. It's very candy-ish to me.It made me feel slightly more bloated and queasy then say BSN or ON, but it's still drinkable. I only tried the one flavor and it wasn't anything amazing. Goes well with almond milk and chocolate almond milk. I personally prefer BSN or ON powders, or even a veggie protein powder over MP.I do like their Amino powder drink very much though.

My favourite protien! I had the Cinnamin Bun version first and I thought it was terrible. It had a distant smell of rotten milk in the distance. It was hard to drink. I gave Muscle Pharm a second chance and I am glad I did. I purchased the Bannana Cream version and it is delicious! I look forward to drinking this everytime I work out!I have found that since I have gotten older, if I do not take protein it will take me days to recover from working out (sometimes I try to eat chicken or some other protein based meal but it does not cut it). If I take this after working out (at night), I feel 90% in the morning and by the next day I am fully healed.

This review is for banana flavor. I had recently tried fitmiss vanilla chai (made by same company but marketed towards women) it was extremely delicious but unreasonably over priced for the amount you get, it simply isn't worth it so I set out to try a few of the MP combat protein flavors to find a cost effective replacement. Banana came the closest to vanilla chai flavor. I add a dash of cinnamon and a little vanilla and you can not tell the difference between the two. Comparing the labels, it is pretty much the same formula minus the female marketing hype. I would recommend this protein to any female fitness enthusiast, it's delicious!
